Associate, Air Distribution Supplier Management

The Supplier Management group at Chase Travel is responsible for managing and growing our business with key suppliers in the travel industry including air, ground, and travel technology providers. Supplier Management also owns the overall strategy for each travel vertical and works closely with other groups within Chase Travel including with Product Development on the product roadmap.

As an Associate, Air Distribution Supplier Managementwithin Chase Travel, you will work to execute our distribution strategy working closely with internal stakeholders and travel technology suppliers. The position requires an analytical-mindset, attention to detail, and a desire to become a subject matter expert in travel distribution including New Distribution Capability (NDC). This is a new role with high stakes and high visibility within Chase Travel Group.

Job responsibilities

  • Perform complex analyses to guide decision making on air content sourcing.
  • Create and maintain a systematic audit process of Chase Travel air content to ensure customers have consistent access to best-in-class air itineraries and fares.
  • Manage the day to day supplier relationship with various travel technology providers.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders as the main contact for distribution related processes, issues, and questions.
  • Manage firm-wide third party compliance requirements internally and externally.
  • Participate in product roadmap decision making and building business cases for future enhancements.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • 1+ year of experience working with data & analytics
  • Strong competency in Excel and experience working with data visualization tools
  • Basic technical aptitude and understanding of API connections
  • Strong organization skills used to prioritize various workstreams and problem solve independently
  • Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and concisely
  • Intellectual curiosity and a passion for travel

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience in the Travel Industry preferred
