Role Description:
As the Operations Executive Director (ED) for the US Custody Asset Servicing Risk team, you will be responsible and accountable for the identification and management of high risk and complex voluntary corporate actions. Further responsibilities include governance for US Announcement Capture and governance of North Americas DCC.
A successful candidate must have a strong sense of ownership and understanding of asset servicing and managing the associated risks.
Job Responsibilities:
- US head of Custody Asset Servicing Risk with governance responsibilities for US Announcement Capture and DCC North American markets.
- Ensure the identification and smooth running of complex and high risk asset servicing events.
- Work closely with OCM, Operational and Client Facing partners to manage operational risk.
- Management of complex and high risk client queries and requests.
- Enhance the Asset Servicing product offering with Business partners to delivery best in class services. The role will focus heavily on managing risk associated with any changes to the existing offering.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- 10+ years of experience in Operations.
- Strong technical skills including asset servicing experience.
- Sound knowledge of the asset servicing elective event life cycle.
- Ability to be effective in a global operating environment and a matrix management organization.
- Exceptional leadership and staff development skills with prior team management experience.
- Excellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills with the ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships both internally and with external clients.
- Strong client service skills, executive presentation skills, and relationship building skills, to develop and deliver results for internal and external partnerships.
- Analytical skills, problem solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills.
- Experience working across multiple business areas and/or functions to deliver results.
- Ability to work independently and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Working knowledge of JP Morgan Global Custody Asset Servicing Processes and systems.
- Expert use of Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and ability to present to senior management.
