The Head of Private Wealth Alternatives (PWA), Client will oversee the PWA client teams, including national accounts and field sales (external & internal). This role is responsible for cultivating deep client partnerships from ideation through successful launches and subsequent growth across our range of existing and new capabilities. The Head will collaborate closely with the broader client leadership team and colleagues across Marketing, Market & Alternatives Insights, Product Strategy & Development, Portfolio Managers, Investment Specialists, and Client Service.

Job Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach, and inspire a team of 14 PWA Sales Specialists, including Desk Manager, National Account, and Internal/External Client Advisors.
- Develop and execute client strategies for long-term growth, collaborating with internal partners to build and implement client business plans. Regularly engage with the Asset Management Operating Committee to review business plan execution and progress.
- Act as a Player Coach in alternatives business development at subset of major national accounts, responsible for new product placement and asset raises. Engage at senior levels across all PWA clients and prospects, organizing campaigns to drive advisor referrals, conference/meeting opportunities, and website presence.
- Inform product development and prioritization through client feedback and emerging trends. Execute product rollouts on key platforms end-to-end: advise on marketing messaging and delivery channels, partner with training to prepare the team, organize roadshows and digital events, and work with data science to optimize client engagement.
- Enhance our external brand by being highly visible in the industry, including speaking at client meetings, industry events, and in PR/media.
- Monitor and analyze business results, coaching the team to optimize performance and reporting. Build and sustain a trusting, highly effective team.
- Conduct regular business review and planning meetings with key firms, evaluating the progress of our partnerships.
- Collaborate with the broader U.S. Advisor client leadership team and Investment Specialists to exchange ideas and formulate strategies for increased penetration within targeted firms.
Job Requirements:
- 15+ years' experience in asset and wealth management distribution, with extensive expertise in private alternatives.
- Demonstrated industry and product knowledge, understanding competition, clients, and marketplace; experience in various private alternative structures, including BDCs, Interval Funds, NTRs, and closed-end offerings.
- Proven track record of sales leadership; steeped in working successfully in/across teams, demonstrating strong energy, focus, and drive to achieve results.
- Capacity to build and manage relationships across the organization and with clients, fostering a diverse and inclusive team culture.
- Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a challenging and collaborative sales environment.
- Frequent travel required
- 4-year degree required; MBA, CFA, CIMA a plus.
- FINRA Series 7, 63.
