Analytics Solutions [Multiple Positions Available]
DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Drive transformation in the firm's data environment to meet the evolving needs of the business and support core finance and business processes. Coordinate end-to-end solutions for data infrastructure, data products, and analytics output. Interact with key stakeholders across Finance, Technology, and consumer lines of business to support analytics, reporting, and the development of new solutions to meet the needs of senior stakeholders and the finance organization. Develop and maintain dashboards that meet stakeholder needs. Perform the quality check for the monthly financial reports needed for CFO reporting. Work alongside with the engineering team to build effective ETL processes for performing copy over from source to destination data sources. Automate manual reporting, key business processes, and quality control checks in data and develop documentation for automated processes. Conduct ad hoc data analysis to answer key business questions posed by executives and other leaders. Create and prioritize tickets/tasks as needed for the tracking of book of work. Responsible for multiple projects with tight timelines and provide guidance to junior team members. Present complex content to a wide range of audiences including senior management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Management Information Systems, Business Analytics, Information Science, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or related field of study plus 5 (five) years of experience in the job offered or as Analytics Solutions Lead/Manager, Information Security Specialist, Data Analyst, Systems Engineer, or related occupation.
Skills Required: This position requires five (5) years of experience with the following: Managing and optimizing data warehouses and enterprise information systems; JIRA for creating stories and epics to track workload; Excel, including pivot tables, macros, graphs, tables, and automation for processing large data volumes; Migrating internal data to AWS cloud; Utilizing security risk indicators and frameworks to safeguard data integrity and compliance; Developing and maintaining dashboards on Tableau Server; Analyzing NoSQL data for performance metrics; Data wrangling and ETL using Alteryx; Database management systems including Oracle PL/SQL and MySQL; and projects involving the analysis, and presentation of data for compliance reports (such as risk, regulatory or financial reports) to track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) metrics to ensure compliance with all industry regulations and company policies. This position requires three (3) years of academic or professional experience with the following: SAS Enterprise Miner and Rapid Miner for data mining and predictive analysis; Customer acquisition and retention analysis, and customer targeting using statistical modeling and tools including R.
