The Commercial & Investment Banking Finance & Business Management team is seeking a professional to support Client Onboarding & Service organization to support strategy and execution of business modeling and analytics programs. This is a high-visibility role with direct interaction and partnership with various senior managers within the bank.

As an Analytics Solution Associate within the Commercial & Investment Bank, you will learn core business processes and develop all people, process, and technology components required to support a best-in-class program delivering advanced analytics globally to solve tough business challenges.

Job responsibilities

  • Advance the business analysis and reporting agenda, focused on insights delivery in areas around staffing models, volume forecasts, comprehensive cost modeling and expense allocations
  • Partner with other Business & Analytics teams to create dashboards and reporting for capacity modeling and client costing
  • Identify opportunities and applicable quantitative and statistical methodologies to deploy advanced analyses at scale for CIB Client Onboarding & Service functions
  • Develop a deep understanding of systems and processes in order to extract insights from existing data while identifying and recommending enhancements to improve data quality
  • Build trusted relationships with stakeholders, cross-functional partners and leadership
  • Take analysis and create executive level presentation using PowerPoint PitchPro+

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • 3+ years of experience in use of data technology to solve complex business problems, with hands-on expertise in the use of multiple Business Intelligence toolsets and database platforms
  • Tableau and SQL/coding experience
  • Knowledge of Alteryx, Python/R and Qlik Sense
  • Knowledge and experience with various analytical, modeling and statistical methodologies
  • Strong quantitative and problem-solving skills with ability to multi-task in fast paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - must have the ability to build strong working relationships with the management team and team members within the business
  • Highly motivated, proactive attitude, with a natural passion to learn and an inquisitive personality
  • Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills with ability to interpret and present complex data
  • Bachelor's degree in quantitative or related field (Data Analytics, Computer Science, Finance etc)
