As an Analytics Professional within our Consumer Investment Bank team, you will be tasked with defining and achieving the firm's objectives. Your role will involve assisting leadership with key finance and business management functions, including project management and the creation and analysis of management and operational reports. You will support WLS Business Leads through tactical and strategic assistance to promote business priorities. Your responsibilities will also include reviewing ad-hoc requests such as Monthly/Quarterly Business Reviews, Executive Management reports, and Operating Committee reviews. You will be expected to deliver BAU reports on a regular basis, identify areas for process improvement, and generate innovative solutions. Additionally, you will prepare presentation materials for management and other stakeholders, liaise with Business teams on control/audit-related aspects, and identify and execute efficiency opportunities in existing data processes. Lastly, you will create strategic narratives for international businesses and provide strategic advisory support, leveraging multiple complex data sources to generate decision support analytics.

Job Responsibilities :

  • Assist leadership with key finance and business management functions, including project management, creation, and analysis of management and operational reporting.
  • Support and partner with WLS Business Leads via tactical and strategic assistance to drive business priorities.
  • Review ad-hoc requests such as Monthly/Quarterly Business Reviews, Executive Management reports, and Operating Committee reviews.
  • Deliver BAU reports on a given cadence.
  • Identify areas for continued process improvement and enhance efficiencies by generating innovative ideas and solutions.
  • Prepare presentation materials to be shared with management, business groups, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Liaise and monitor with Business teams on various control/audit-related aspects.
  • Identify and execute efficiency/automation opportunities in existing data consolidation/reporting processes.
  • Create and drive strategic narratives for international businesses and provide strategic advisory support.
  • Leverage multiple complex data sources and stakeholder-supplied information to generate decision support analytics.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • BE/B.Tech or any other technical graduate with 2 years of experience working in Dashboard & Analytics
  • Communications skills - Must possess strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Problem solving skills - Strong problem solving and analytical capabilities coupled with the ability to identify issues, gather and manipulate data, obtain consensus and support implementing change
  • Technical and analytical skills - Able to produce accurate, error-free analysis and reporting. Understand business drivers and ensure that the groups' analyses are sound.
  • Proficient in Alteryx, SQL and Tableau/Qlik Sense
  • Working knowledge on cloud technologies (AWS)
  • Execution and project management skills - Well-developed organizational skills to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Understanding of project management tools such as JIRA

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Problem solving skills - Strong problem solving and analytical capabilities coupled with the ability to identify issues, gather and manipulate data, obtain consensus and support implementing change.
  • Proficient in Excel, and PowerPoint
