The team is seeking a collaborative, relationship-first individual with a passion for the travel industry. The Supplier Management Associate is responsible for owning and driving partnerships, collaboration, and building relationships with international airline partners to mutually grow sales and revenue. The position requires an analytical-mindset, the ability to collaborate and prioritize.
As an Airline Supplier Management Associate within Chase Travel, you will be responsible for independently owning end-to-end negotiation of multiple airline contracts, optimizing value provided to customers, airlines, and our company. You will collaborate with Supplier Managers to align revenue management strategies to optimize supplier opportunities. You will report out key metrics, findings, and financial impacts to senior leadership and airlines. In addition, the Associate will own the development of new opportunities for travel products and effective management of challenges. You will also be responsible for assisting the VP, Air Supplier Relations in managing the Controls and Compliance procedures for key suppliers and suppliers under their individual portfolios

Job responsibilities
- Create, negotiate, manage, and optimize strategies that create positive EBITDA impacts for key airline partners
- Balance owning multiple key travel supplier relationships
- Be involved in product driven projects targeting sales and revenue growth
- Manage and source multiple preferred airline relationships that achieve successful financial objectives
- Develop long and short-term strategies and tactics to maximize success and company business objectives
- Develop and optimize existing relationships on an ongoing basis, utilizing entrepreneurial methodologies that create incremental revenue streams
- Provide effective quantitative and qualitative modeling and analysis to prove and measure airline agreement value and opportunity
- Adhere to Control and Procedure policies across portfolio of preferred suppliers
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years of advanced applicable airline or travel industry knowledge and experience
- Demonstrates excellent communication skills and is comfortable sharing analysis insights and key findings to executives and clients
- Exceptional Microsoft Word, Power Point, Excel, and Outlook competency
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize and multi-task effectively while staying organized
- Contractual knowledge necessary to understand, challenge, and optimize contract terms and conditions
- The ability to build strong airline relationships and collaborate on strategies to drive incremental revenue for key partners through contract negotiations
- Must be effective at listening closely to challenges and providing clear and deliberate responses and solutions
- Ability to convey messages of strategic importance clearly, both oral and written
- Dynamic presentation skills - skilled in the use of techniques and strategies required to effectively educate airlines on growth strategies
- Willingness to partner with travel product management and IT product integration
