As a Data Science Senior Associate, within our Affluent Data and Analytics team, you will support sales and service channel initiatives in the Consumer Bank Affluent segment and work with internal clients. Our business is based on a strong culture of highly-informed decision-making. As such, the successful candidate will be one who is able to scan across a large ecosystem of data, research, and other customer insights, in order to develop and influence critical initiatives and strategies across teams and channels.

Job responsibilities:

  • Adept at communicating and interfacing with senior stakeholders, leveraging a blend of analytical skills and business acumen to drive impactful results that inform strategic decisions.
  • Partner with business and technology teams to set quantifiable goals, advise on strategies, and experiment to achieve business objectives.
  • Pro-actively identify key growth and opportunity areas as well as communicating recommendations to business partners.
  • Uphold the highest standards of data integrity and security, aligning with both internal and external regulatory requirements and compliance protocols.
  • Stay updated on industry trends as well as test new tools and techniques to address business challenges.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Masters in a related field, or Bachelors with 1+ years of experience in a related discipline (Computer Science, Operational Research, Physics, Mathematics, Neuroscience, Engineering, Econometrics, Statistics, Other Sciences etc.) or equivalent
  • Knowledge of programming languages and Business Intelligence (BI) tools such as SQL, Python, Tableau, and/or Alteryx
  • Knowledge of Statistical methods and concepts, predictive modeling, time series forecasting, and/or text mining
  • Experience in Cloud and Big Data platforms such as AWS, Snowflake, Hadoop, Hive, Pig, Apache Spark, etc
