The SAP Product Manager at Johnson & Johnson Abiomed is a key role responsible for driving the strategic direction, development, and performance of SAP-related products within an organization. This position requires a deep understanding of SAP solutions, excellent product management skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative and effective solutions.

Further refine the backlog by adding necessary technical features and epics; work with Suppliers and Product owners, regarding supplier delivered capacity & architectural integration is understood.

Help Product Owners prioritize their backlogs, manage product / platform constraints, and resolve cross-team dependencies; manage demand intake as required.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Product Strategy and Roadmap:

  • Define the product vision, strategy and OKR's for SAP ERP, aligning business demand with the product roadmap.
  • Establish technology roadmaps to achieve efficient & effective delivery of business & customer value for SAP ERP.
  • Balance business value with technical feasibility while prioritizing features, optimizing cost and improving delivery efficiency.

2. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with product strategy.
  • Work closely with SAP architects, developers, and subject matter experts to deliver high-quality solutions.

3. End User Engagement:

  • Engage with users to gather feedback, understand pain points, and find opportunities for product improvement.
  • Work closely with the support team to address user issues and enhance the overall user experience.

4. Product Development:

  • Work in close partnership with the Product Owner and Engineer roles to manage risk in backlog.
  • Ensure timely and quality delivery of product releases.
  • Manage the product development lifecycle from conception to launch.

5. Performance Monitoring:

  • Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the success and performance of SAP products.
  • Implement strategies for continuous improvement based on performance metrics.

6. Compliance and Security:

  • Ensure that SAP products comply with industry standards, regulations, and security best practices.
  • Collaborate with security and compliance teams to address any concerns or issues.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, information technology, or an equivalent (Master's degree is a plus).
  • Proven experience as a Product Manager, with a focus on SAP products.
  • In-depth knowledge of SAP solutions and technologies.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies.

Preferred Skills:

  • SAP certification or relevant professional certifications.
  • Experience with cloud-based SAP solutions.
  • Knowledge of SAP integration strategies and technologies.
  • Familiarity with emerging trends in enterprise resource planning (ERP) and SAP ecosystem.

The base pay range for this position is $118,000 to $203,550. The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis.
