The PSTS Portfolio Insights and Data Integration Coordinator, provide monitoring and tracking for the application of scientific data operational frameworks and harmonization efforts across J&J Innovative Medicine sites, including La Jolla CA, Spring House CA, Beerse Belgium, and Shanghai China. In partnership with the Director of PSTS Portfolio Insights and Data Integration and functional area project team representatives, this role will provide metrics by maintaining and monitoring scientific data projects to ensure deadlines are met, timely issue resolution, and drive cross functional efficiencies.

This role will be responsible for fostering a collaborative culture and will work with many internal and external stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes. He/She will serve as a visible and effective change agent for global initiatives and will seek to provide input to PSTS S&O strategic decision making.

The PSTS Portfolio Insights and Data Integration Coordinator will participate on the PSTS S&O Data Integration Team. As a member of the PSTS S&O Data Integration Team, he/she will be responsible for collecting and collating data for metrics, success of implementation, and future strategic decision making. processes. The role will serve as a PSTS champion and will partner with others to increase awareness and application of data collection systems within PSTS. This role will also support the DPSD Due Diligence process. He/she will be responsible for the collection and follow up of important documentation, scheduling meetings and tracking all needed schedules and metrics to meet deadlines.

This role will indirectly (through matrix relationships) interact with IT, Data Sciences and PSTS project teams and laboratory leadership providing cross functional connections and networks.

The PSTS Portfolio Insights and Data Integration Coordinator will have a desire for learning and innovation, and continue career development through participation in scientific meetings, and expand knowledge in data technology and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support PSTS work by tracking, developing, and maintaining a process and system for real time access and review of data.
  • Establish a robust relationship with the cross-functional PSTS members.
  • Develop consistent critical metrics across cross-functional groups to track PSTS data tools and systems.
  • Communicate decisions, celebrations, and areas of challenge in a timely manner to impacted cross-functional teams and PSTS Leadership.
  • Provide subject matter advice and oversight to internal and external partner groups addressing current/future business needs, demonstrating outstanding project management skills.
  • Develop strong partnerships with IT and Data Sciences, to assist with the development and maintenance of PSTS data collection systems.
  • Assist with DPSD Due Diligence process, oversight, documentation, timelines and metrics.
  • Act as a trusted business advisor, thought partner, options analyst and project manager on key data initiatives.


Qualifications

Education:

  • a Bachelor's degree, MBA or other advanced degree or equivalent in a related field of study is preferred

Experience and Skills:

Required:

  • a minimum of 4 years pharmaceutical/biotech industry experience, with experience in global drug development program execution is required
  • experience with conducting or monitoring nonclinical studies at an external partner is required
  • a minimum of 1 year of talents with MS Teams, Smartsheet, SharePoint Online, Excel, Yammer is required

Preferred:

  • experience in project management and/or change management and animal-based research is preferred
  • experience facilitating project team meetings, cross-functional communication, and ensuring ongoing alignment with team members is preferred
  • a proactive and strategic problem solver, with talents to think creatively is preferred
  • adaptive leadership style with confirmed ability to positively influence team performance is preferred
  • flexible demeanor and work skills to be able to take on and deliver various special projects is preferred
  • PMP credentials or experience with the PM tools, software, and processes are preferred

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $102,000 to $163,300.

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis.

Vacation - up to 120 hours per calendar year

Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays - up to 13 days per calendar year

Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
