At Johnson Controls, we’re looking for a HVAC Systems Engineering Leader to guide a talented group of Systems Engineers and Designers. You’ll oversee hardware and software engineering, network-level commissioning, and drive innovation across major and branch projects.
This is more than a leadership role, it’s a chance to make a real impact on the building of technologies while mentoring the next generation of engineering talent.
🔧 What You’ll Be Doing
Lead and schedule engineering teams to deliver high-quality HVAC solutions
Develop and implement processes that ensure cost-effective, consistent project execution
Serve as the regional expert in HVAC application engineering
Collaborate with project teams to meet deadlines and exceed customer expectations
Provide technical support, cost estimates, and drive continuous improvement
Build strong relationships with clients, consultants, and architects
Hire, mentor, and grow your team through performance coaching and career development
🎯 What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in engineering (preferred)
5+ years of HVAC application engineering experience
Proven leadership in supervising technical teams
Strong construction industry background
Master’s degree or PE license is a plus
Excellent communication and presentation skills

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $ 86,200.00 - 144,000.00 USD Annual.(Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) This position includes a competitive benefits package.
