What you will do
The Air Handling Senior Staff Engineer is responsible for Managing a current team of four people to achieve multiple objectives as well as sustaining the current Air Handling offering. The Engineering Manager will be responsible for electrical power analysis, detailed design, end devices as well as overall electrical performance of systems, including providing support to the production, service, applications, and marketing teams.
How you will do it
Produces designs/selections for electrical power, control panels & devices, variable speed drives and wire harnesses in accordance with UL, NEC, IBC and OSHPD requirements.
Proficient in electrical design, able to conceptualize and integrate new ideas into the product.
Responsible for technical direction of the Engineering Leadership team and ultimately the AHU business.
Being a hands-on Leader who increases the performance of your team by example, coaching, education and skills development.
Strives for continuous improvement in a highly configurable product that relies upon clear problem statements, communication and collaboration to succeed.
Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment with other leaders & Engineers on product and technology development programs for engineering changes and new product development.
Responsible for engineering collateral, rules/calculators, drawings, BOMs and all critical attributes that define the design.
What we look for
Required
Bachelor of Science Electrical Engineer or related field; minimum of 7 years of experience in a leadership role.
Experience designing industrial products and/or Industrial building systems.
Knowledge of power and power distriubtion.
Enjoyment of the hands-on experience, seeing your work being built and the pride of ownership.
Must be willing and able to travel domestically and internationally as required (up to 10% of time, examples: HQ in Milwaukee, customer site, other manufacturing site, vendors or supplier location, internationally could be Dublin, Ireland or Wuxi, China.
Preferred
Familiarity with HVAC Systems and motor driven mechanical engineering design.
HIRING SALARY RANGE: $109,000-146,000+ (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, location and alignment with market data.) This role offers a competitive Bonus plan that will take into account individual, group, and corporate performance. This position includes a competitive benefits package.
