Signal and Image Processing Engineer, Electromagnetic Systems

Laurel, MD

Description

Do you have expertise in research, development, and analysis of signal or image processing algorithms?

Would you like to use your signal processing experience to help advance U.S. navy electromagnetic systems for superior defense and national security missions?

If so, we're looking for someone like you to join us at APL!

We are looking for a driven Signal Processing Engineer to join us in pushing boundaries in digital signal and image processing to enhance electromagnetic system capabilities in government and military maritime systems. We are a team of engineers, mathematicians, and scientists who seek to characterize and understand digital data in order to detect, classify, and localize signatures in complex environments. Our group's diverse expertise enables us to solve a wide range of radar, electronic warfare (EW), remote sensing, and signal processing problems for maritime missions. We strive to foster an environment of great diversity, collaboration, inclusivity, and growth. As a member of the team, you will use signal processing techniques to create innovative algorithms, prototypes, and analysis products that provide greater situational awareness and operational utility to the warfighter.
