Jim Koons Automotive Companies is seeking an Accounting Manager for our Baltimore Ford location. We have

The schedule for this role is Monday-Friday, 40 hr. work week, occasional weekend at month end may be required.
The candidate for this role will have minimum two years accounting/dealership experience, have strong accounting skills, the ability to reconcile and post statements and accounts, and has the prior experience managing a small staff.

What you will be doing as an Accounting Manager:
Hires, trains, and supervises office personnel
Analyzes and organizes office operations and procedures
Reconciles select accounts monthly
Ensures that all manufacturer accounts including warranty claims, rebates, interest, protection, and co-op
advertising accounts are current and accurate
Prepares sales commission/chargeback detail reports
Manages the payoff of vehicle floor plan
What we are looking for:
Two or more years of accounting experience in an automotive dealership.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration is preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail
Thorough understanding of automotive accounting practices
