Training Specialist II

SUMMARY
Plan, design, organize, conduct and evaluate managerial, supervisory, and staff training programs. Provide employees with effective organizational development solutions to support strategic initiatives identified in collaboration with the organization's functional management team. Assess the effectiveness of training solutions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. People Development Management & Execution
- Design, implement, and enhance short & long-term people development programs (EIT Program, Career Development Programs, Leadership programs, Learning campaigns...).
- Develop, regularly update, and deliver high-quality training content & material as a facilitator for various programs (Orientation, Soft skills, Leadership courses...).
- Develop and manage E-Learning courses; upload, track, and monitor learning activities via platforms such as LMS, LinkedIn Learning, and other digital tools.
- Collaborate with departments to identify skill gaps and develop tailored training plans.
- Lead leadership workshops aligned with Jabil frameworks; support functional/workcell development initiatives.
- Recommend effective learning solutions, evaluate training impact, and drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure high participant satisfaction and program effectiveness.
- Apply adult learning principles and interactive methods to optimize learner engagement and training effectiveness.
- Evaluate training outcomes, refine materials accordingly and work closely with relevant SMEs to ensure content accuracy and relevance.
2. Plantwide Operations Training Management & Execution
- Lead & conduct the end-to-end TNA process and implement a comprehensive training calendar based on TNA results to ensure timely delivery of all programs.
- Manage internal & external training logistics, vendor coordination, training facilities, tools, and classroom setup.
- Align training plans with business goals and stay updated with L&D best practices.
- Manage the implementation and usage of digital learning platforms (LMS, LinkedIn Learning...) to support plantwide learning.
- Build, manage, and maintain L&D SharePoint sites, dashboards, applications and digital tracking tools to enhance training visibility, data accessibility, and reporting accuracy.
- Monitor on training budgeting, L&D reporting, and junior team mentoring.
- Organize learning events and engagement activities to promote learning culture.
- Design L&D communication materials for training/program promotions (posters, invitation, backdrop, certificates,...).
- Handle vendor management processes and ensure compliance in audits and documentation.
- Perform other tasks assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Organizational Development, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 3-5 years of experience in training and development, preferably in a manufacturing or corporate environment.
Skills:
- Strong facilitation and presentation skills (English & Vietnamese) to engage diverse audiences.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS/Workday) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data and report on training outcomes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships at all levels.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Continuous improvement mindset to proactively identify and implement enhancements in training programs and processes.
- Design skills to create visually engaging, learner-centric materials and experiences.
- Maintains a proactive attitude, remains resilient in high-pressure situations, and actively collaborates with team members and stakeholders at all levels.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the manufacturing or EMS industry.
- Knowledge of adult learning principles and leadership development methodologies.
- Experience with E-learning platforms and virtual training tools
- Experience with Digital Application such as Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, Articulate Storyline,...
Working Conditions
- Occasional travel to training venues or other Jabil facilities may be required.
- Flexibility to work outside standard hours to accommodate training schedules and events.
