Test Technician - Days - A Shift

This role is on a 12-hour day shift, 6am to 6pm

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Test Technician to join our team. In this role, you will assist in testing, troubleshooting, and validating electronic components and systems to ensure they meet quality and performance standards. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform functional, diagnostic, and environmental testing on electronic assemblies, circuit boards, and systems.
• Use test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, signal generators, and power supplies.
• Record and document test results accurately and clearly.
• Identify and report issues related to component failures or test inconsistencies.
• Assist engineers in troubleshooting and reworking electronic assemblies as needed.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), test protocols, and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and properly store tools and equipment.
• Support continuous improvement efforts in testing processes and product quality.

• Associate degree or technical certification in Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related field (or equivalent hands-on experience).
• Basic understanding of electronic circuits and components (e.g., resistors, capacitors, transistors, ICs).
• Familiarity with standard test equipment (multimeter, oscilloscope, etc.).
• Good attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and test instructions.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.

• Previous experience in a test or manufacturing environment (internships or coursework projects acceptable).
• Basic soldering and rework skills.
• Experience with data entry or test software.
