About Position:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Design Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing plastic injection molds and related tooling. This position requires strong technical knowledge of product design and development processes as well as excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and external suppliers. The ideal candidate should possess advanced proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks or Pro/E. Additionally, familiarity with industry standards for mold design and construction would be highly beneficial. Knowledge of thermoplastic materials and their properties is also essential for this role. Experience working on complex projects involving multiple disciplines such as engineering, marketing, purchasing, and operations is preferred.
Responsibility：
1. Responsible for product design including part design and component design;
2. Organize the mold design, ensure the accuracy of drawings, coordinate with the tooling department to complete the mold design, and communicate with the customer's tooling department for review and modification;
3. Assist the production department to improve the existing process flow chart, analyze the cost structure of the product, and assist the purchasing department to select the material and evaluate the price;
4. Organize the sample production process, track the progress of each project, organize the prototype production process, and communicate with other departments to solve problems during the production process;
5. Establish the preliminary test plan and implement it;
6. Communicate with customers to collect samples, conduct tests, and summarize results;
7. Responsible for document management, records management, etc.;
8. Complete other tasks assigned by supervisor.
Requirement：
1. Bachelor degree or above in Engineering or equivalent;
2. At least 3 years of work experience in product design, tooling design, plastics processing, or related fields;
3. Proficient in SolidWorks or similar CAD software;
4. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills;
5. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills;
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
7. Willingness to travel occasionally;
