Quality Inspector on 2nd Shift (3pm - 11pm)

Job Description: Quality Inspector

• Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
• Use precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) equipment.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine inspection requirements.
• Identify and report non-conformities and deviations from product quality standards.
• Document inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarize re-work and waste, and input data into quality databases.
• Assist in root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action processes (CAPA) for quality issues.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality assurance teams to resolve quality problems and improve processes.
• Ensure compliance with company quality policies, industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001), and customer requirements.
• Maintain a clean and organized inspection area and properly calibrate and store inspection tools.
• Support internal and external audits by providing inspection records and quality documentation.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
• Willingness to work on scheduled Saturdays or weekends as required by production demands.
