Als Jabil Optics Germany GmbH in Jena sind wir Teil des weltweit zweitgrößten Auftragsfertigers Jabil und führend bei der Entwicklung von opto-elektro-mechanischen Modulen für Augmented, Virtual and Mixed Reality, moderne Kamerasysteme sowie Gestensteuerung/ 3D Sensing. Wir entwickeln in einem internationalen Team innovative kundenspezifische Lösungen für weltweit führende Markenhersteller. Jabil beschäftigt global mehr als 140 000 Mitarbeitende. Lead Mechanical Designer (m/w/d)
Ihre Aufgaben:
- Selbstständige Konstruktion mechanischer/optischer Baugruppen und Komponenten von Prototypen bis zum Seriendesign
- Koordinierung der Aufgaben der Produktentwicklung (wie z.B. die umfassende Abstimmung mit den Schnittstellen Validierung, Prototypenbau und der Systemarchitektur)
- Definition und Kontrolle von Lastenheften für externe Entwicklungsaufgaben
- Kommunikation mit Kunden, Lieferanten und internen Fachbereichen
- Erstellung von Fertigungsunterlagen unter Berücksichtigung technischer Anforderungen
- Definition und Auswertung konstruktionsbegleitender Simulationen
- Toleranzabsicherung mittels Software
- Anleitung von Technischen Zeichner/-innen und Mitarbeiter/-innen im Musterbau und in der Fertigung
- Zeichnungserstellung nach ISO/GPS Standard
Ihr Profil:
- Erfolgreich abgeschlossenes (Fach-)Hochschulstudium (Master/Diplom) in den Fachrichtungen Feinwerktechnik, Laser- und Optotechnologie, Maschinenbau o.Ä.
- Umfassende Erfahrungen in der Konstruktion mechanischer/ optischer/ elektronischer Komponenten/ Baugruppen
- Umfassende Kenntnis aller relevanten Serienfertigungsverfahren
- Kenntnisse PTC Creo 11 und PLM-System Windchill wünschenswert
- Kenntnisse in "Model-Based Definition" wünschenswert
- Erfahrungen mit Simulationssoftware wie Ansys/Creo Simulate wünschenswert
- Ausgeprägte kommunikative Fähigkeiten
- Freude an einem dynamischen Umfeld mit zum Teil schnell wechselnden Aufgaben, je nach Verlauf des Kundenprojekts
- Motivation zur Weiterentwicklung persönlicher und fachlicher Fähigkeiten im internationalen Entwicklungsumfeld
- Gute Kenntnisse der englischen Sprache in Wort und Schrift
- Internationale Reisebereitschaft (maximal 10 %)
