How Will You Make an Impact?

As an IT Process Engineer II, you will play a dual role in driving the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of IT service management processes using the ITIL framework. You'll be instrumental in both project leadership and day-to-day operational support-ensuring process stability, compliance, and efficiency across change management, configuration, incident response, and lifecycle support. Your contributions will directly impact Jabil's ability to deliver scalable, secure, and reliable IT services worldwide.

What Will You Do?

Process Development & Implementation

  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of IT processes and related tools to support global initiatives.
  • Develop process documentation, controls, templates, and training materials.
  • Coordinate and support the implementation of change, configuration, incident, and problem management practices.

Operational Support & Monitoring

  • Manage and monitor daily IT activities including software compliance, infrastructure support, vulnerabilities, and mobile device management.
  • Oversee server room operations, including access control, equipment purchases, and vendor warranties.
  • Maintain and reset SAP generic accounts and passwords.
  • Provide hands-on troubleshooting and configuration for RF scanners, Raspberry Pi devices, and shopfloor systems.

Reporting & Continuous Improvement

  • Analyze trends and metrics to support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Monitor process effectiveness using KPIs and propose improvements where applicable.
  • Prepare process reports and communicate with upper management regarding performance and gaps.

Project & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Lead or support local and global IT projects; manage site-specific forecasting and procurement.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to deliver IT solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with internal audits, SOX controls, and security policies.

Communication & Training

  • Conduct training sessions and mentor peers in process utilization.
  • Facilitate meetings, knowledge-sharing, and coordination with IT and operational departments.

How Will You Get Here?

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related discipline required.

Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of IT experience with exposure to ITIL frameworks, infrastructure support, and service management.
  • Experience with process-oriented workflow design and cross-functional project coordination.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Strong working knowledge of ITIL concepts, service lifecycle, and IT service management practices.
  • Basic network knowledge, concept of VLAN, fiber types, etc
  • Server knowledge: rack and mount experience, DNS, DHCP basic management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP, AD and IT systems including change, configuration, and incident management tools.
  • Excellent RF scanner configuration and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience managing logistics, including mailing IT equipment for warranty repair and tracking service returns.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Windows OS from Win7 to Win11, end points patching, GPO basic
  • Ability to manage infrastructure warranties and services, including those related to servers and printers.
  • Competence in identifying and acting on EOL (End-of-Life) hardware for timely replacements.
  • Designated Shopfloor SME is responsible for access control, system maintenance, and issue resolution.
  • Experience with Shopfloor Raspberry Pi configuration and support.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently or collaboratively within a fast-paced, global environment.
  • Exceptional communication skills-both written and verbal.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with IT compliance (e.g., SOX, audit readiness).
  • Familiarity with infrastructure support, device configuration (mobile/RF scanners), and SAP account management.
  • ITIL certification or equivalent process knowledge.
