Job Description

JOB SUMMARY Assists Product Validation Engineers in the development of test solution/proposals. Also, provides actual validation support, and continuously works to improve core competency. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES § Ensure the validation task be finished timely, improving the test efficiency and automating the test execution;§ Tracking test cases, failure analysis on defective product or components, root cause analysis.§ Have a detailed understanding of product concept and SOW/PRD§ Follow up all test plans, test specifications and test reports. § Responsible for the planning of tools, equipment, test procedures, methodologies and benchmarking for all new and future projects.§ The process of validating a product includes, but is not limited to, the use of PV tools and systems for:§ Utilizing and building relationships with external laboratories§ Project tracking (action items, journals, time entry, milestones, and deliverables checklists).§ Product Validation guidelines (global test specification, product validation requirements).§ PV documentation package templates (test plans, test specification, Test Reports, etc...)§ May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. JOB QUALIFICATIONS KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS • Ability to read, analyzes, and interprets, professional journals, technical procedures and datasheets. • Ability to write reports and procedure manuals. • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.• Ability to define problems, collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.• Ability to operate a personal computer including using a Windows based operating system and related software. • Ability to write simple correspondence. Read and understand visual aid.• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions.• Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.• Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret graphs.• Proficiency in use of personal computers, Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word and Power Point) and e-mail skills required. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS • Associate's degree in ME or EE Engineering preferred; § Plus 2 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. § Six Sigma is a plus.
