About This Role:

The Medical Education and Partnerships Manager will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive medical education strategies to advance the understanding and adoption of iRhythm's cardiac monitoring solutions among healthcare professionals and institutional stakeholders. This role will collaborate cross-functionally and externally to translate clinical science into engaging, educational content while strengthening strategic relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), medical societies, and third-party partners. The successful candidate will be a clinically astute, strategic thinker who can balance scientific rigor with business impact, and who thrives in a highly matrixed, fast-paced healthcare environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Medical Education Strategy & Execution
  • Design, develop, and execute robust medical education programs targeting cardiologists, electrophysiologists, general practitioners, administrators, and allied health professionals.
  • Serve as the clinical lead on national and regional educational events including symposia, roundtables, live webinars, digital campaigns, and fellowship-focused initiatives.
  • Build clinically oriented presentations on topics such as cardiac monitoring modalities, guideline updates, diagnostic pathways, and disease state progression.
  • Identify HCP educational needs via market insights, stakeholder feedback, and clinical data trends to shape agenda themes and program content.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders in Marketing, Product, HEOR, and Commercial teams to build, communicate, and deliver education in support of clinical science and product launches.
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of high-impact educational initiatives that support business objectives, including those tied to product launches and market access strategies.
  • Monitor and assess program effectiveness using data and feedback and make ongoing improvements to maximize HCP engagement and learning outcomes.
  • Work collaboratively with international colleagues on messaging and content for educational events.
  • Assist as needed with grant requests and third-party educational symposia planning.
Key Opinion Leader & Partner Engagement
  • Identify, cultivate, and manage relationships with KOLs and subject matter experts across cardiology, electrophysiology, and internal medicine to support medical education initiatives.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between KOLs and internal stakeholders, including Medical Affairs, Scientific Affairs, and Commercial teams.
  • Engage KOLs for advisory boards, educational programming, podium preparation, content development, and strategy consultation.
  • Collaborate with medical societies, academic institutions, vendor partners, patient advocacy groups, and non-profits to co-create and deliver high-impact educational experiences in support of corporate initiatives.
  • Actively gather and disseminate scientific insights from KOLs to inform clinical messaging, product development, and strategic planning.
  • Support the needs of the Product team, IDTF medical directors, and sales training for advisory meetings and product launch content creation.
Scientific Communication & Cross-functional Collaboration
  • Translate complex clinical data and guidelines into digestible, compelling content tailored to various HCP audiences.
  • Collaborate with Digital Education teams to build and implement a scalable digital learning strategy, including on-demand content and virtual training programs.
  • Act as a clinical resource for Product, Clinical Operations, Sales Training, and Marketing by supporting the development of educational tools, sales training content, and scientific talking points.
  • Partner with Scientific Affairs to identify clinical investigators.
  • Work with HEOR teams to disseminate real-world evidence and support economic value messaging in medical education programs.
  • Participate in cross-functional workstreams to ensure unified messaging, data accuracy, and brand consistency across all education efforts.
Operational Excellence & Compliance
  • Manage and coordinate all aspects of live and virtual education events: faculty recruitment, needs assessments, content review, and logistics.
  • Ensure medical accuracy and regulatory compliance in all educational content and activities, including off-label requests and third-party programs.
  • Assist in developing internal documentation for grants, educational symposia, and external sponsorships.
  • Track budgets, timelines, and KPIs for all educational initiatives and report outcomes to key stakeholders.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation to support medical education audits and compliance reviews.
Experience and Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced clinical/scientific degree (e.g., MPH, PA-C, MSN) strongly preferred.
  • IBHRE certification (CCDS, CEPS, CDRMS) or equivalent clinical experience in cardiology highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in Medical Education, Clinical Sales (CRM or EP), or Medical Affairs.
  • At least 4 years of cardiology-specific experience with demonstrated expertise in cardiac rhythm management or diagnostic monitoring.
  • Proven success in developing and executing large-scale educational programs and managing KOL engagement.
  • Experience in the ambulatory cardiac monitoring space is strongly preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Deep clinical knowledge and comfort discussing scientific data with HCPs and institutional stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with exceptional project management skills and attention to detail.
  • High emotional intelligence and ability to influence and build trust across diverse teams and external partners.
  • Demonstrated ability to read, analyze, and interpret clinical studies and translate findings into actionable education.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including scientific writing and presentation creation.
  • Ability to operate independently with limited oversight, prioritize competing demands, and meet tight deadlines.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and modern virtual collaboration platforms (e.g., Zoom, Teams, LMS platforms).
Work Environment / Other Requirements:
  • Travel up to 25%, including some weekends for conferences, events, and key meetings.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States and able to work remotely with minimal supervision.

Actual compensation may vary depending on job-related factors including knowledge, skills, experience, and work location.

Estimated Pay Range
$135,000.00 - $175,000.00
