As an Account Manager, Insurance, you’ll play a pivotal role in growing InvoiceCloud’s footprint within our existing insurance client base. Your mission: to build strong, consultative relationships with key stakeholders across top insurance carriers, understand their evolving needs, and drive cross-sell and upsell opportunities that maximize customer value and product adoption.
You’ll collaborate closely with Customer Success, Product, and Marketing to deliver strategic growth within your book of business—while helping clients unlock the full potential of our platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Own a portfolio of Insurance clients and be expansion through consultative engagement.
- Drive cross-sell and upsell opportunities across InvoiceCloud’s product suite (e.g., digital disbursements, text-to-pay, enhanced communications, and self-service tools).
- Understand each client’s business model and digital strategy to align InvoiceCloud’s capabilities with their customer engagement and payment goals.
- Build trusted advisor relationships with executive sponsors, operations leaders, and IT stakeholders.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans, identifying whitespace and growth paths for each customer.
- Achieve quarterly revenue targets through expansion, selling, renewals, and solution positioning.
- Partner with Marketing and Product to share customer feedback, identify trends, and co-create campaigns that support adoption and upsell efforts.
- Track account health, product usage, and engagement metrics to identify risk and opportunity areas.
- Stay informed on industry trends and competitive insights within P&C and Life & Health insurance markets.
What You Bring
- Strong sales skills, including prospecting, closing deals and managing the sales cycle.
- 5+ years of experience in account management, customer success, or solution sales—preferably in insurance, SaaS, or payments.
- Proven track record of hitting or exceeding cross-sell/upsell targets in a B2B environment.
- Strong understanding of insurance operations, billing workflows, and policyholder experience.
- Excellent relationship-building, communication, and presentation skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze data, uncover insights, and translate them into action.
- Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM tools to manage pipeline and forecast revenue.
- Highly organized, self-directed, and passionate about customer success and growth.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with P&C insurance carriers or MGAs.
- Familiarity with insurance billing platforms or payment technology.
- Prior involvement in digital transformation or customer experience initiatives.

Base salary is one component of total compensation. Employees may also be eligible for an annual bonus or commission. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay.
