Job Description

Primary Function of Position

This position is responsible for data collection, analysis, development, and coordination of all assigned tasks activities and projects relating to inventory control. This role will be to support Manufacturing, Planning, and Operations while reviewing material accuracies. Communication and collaboration with Compliance, Quality Control, Production, Distribution, Material Operations, Finance, among others. 

Essential Job Duties 

  • Perform cycle counts, and physical inventories and reconciliation activities in coordination with cycle counters.
  • Collect data and provide detailed root cause analysis, update KPI’s and metrics and escalate to management if needed.
  • Resolve WO discrepancies, create and maintain KanBan control cycle
  • Responsible for the inventory integrity of all Warehouse and WIP locations.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives for inventory control processes and implement processes accordingly.
  • Develop communication relationships with Materials, Production, Planning, Engineering, Purchasing, Shipping, Finance, Receiving and IQC
  • Support special projects requiring immediate data extraction, manipulation and reporting.
  • Assist with any internal or external audits.
  • Ensure the use of personal protective equipment.
  • Adhere to all manufacturing policies, guidelines and procedures. Comply with Current Good Manufacturing Practices. Ensure daily discipline and good practices within the work area.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience

  • English spoken 50%.
  • Minimum 1 year prior warehouse experience and/or exhibits knowledge of inventory control activities (cycle counts, physical inventory, root cause analysis, replenishment processes etc.).
  • Able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Intermediate computer experience (including MS Office products and ERP systems). 

Required Education and Training 

  • Bachelor degree

Preferred Skills and Experience 

  • Knowledge of GMP’s and previous work experience in a medical manufacturing environment.
  • SAP and Agile.
