Job Description
Primary Function of Position:
The Commercial Solutions team operates at the intersection of Sales, Sales Operations, and Finance. Focusing on customer-centric solutions and seamless collaboration throughout the Quote-to-Contract process, we help our global commercial organization fulfil Intuitive mission.
In this key role, you will collaborate with Sales, Contracts, Tender, Finance and Customer Success teams by managing pricing execution and enabling customer performance analytics.
You ensure accurate, timely, and compliant go-to-market pricing alignment with customer segments, frameworks and agreements, while also providing insights into customer performance that may trigger pricing reviews, contract renewal or commercial actions.
This hybrid role bridges the gap between strategic pricing, deal structuring, and sales intelligence, making it especially valuable in strategic sales support, tenders, customer segmentation, and complex Quote-to-Contract environments.
Positioned at the heart of commercial transactions, it enables the Commercial Solutions team to respond effectively to evolving customer needs and drive growth in Intuitive environment.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Act as a central hub for sales deal support, partnering with Sales, Finance, Legal, and business operations teams to ensure smooth execution of deals and optimization of Intuitive’s acquisition model portfolio.
- Act autonomously as a key point of contact for Area Sales Managers and Area Sales Directors stakeholders regarding pricing execution and customer performance, enabling a consistent and high-quality customer experience.
- Monitor and analyse customer performance data, supporting the development of analytics capabilities to enable proactive pricing reviews, contract renewals, and commercial actions.
- Proactively identify and resolve pricing and deal-related issues, applying judgment to balance customer needs with company policies and revenue goals.
- Coordinate deal execution activities to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with business objectives.
- Support governance and compliance efforts by ensuring pricing practices align with internal policies, audit requirements, and business objectives.
- Coordinate with Finance to model long-term revenue impact and validate discount thresholds.
- Drive seamless collaboration across multiple teams while maintaining ownership and accountability for pricing accuracy and compliance.
- Act as an agent of change for growth and innovation in developing the commercial finance business.
Qualifications
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in Pricing, Sales Operations, or Commercial Excellence roles.
- Hands-on experience with SFDC, Tableau, CRM platforms, and ERP systems (e.g., SAP) to support pricing and commercial processes
- Solid understanding of how hospitals and healthcare providers make purchasing decisions and conduct value-based assessments.
- Demonstrated capability to collaborate effectively with sales teams, providing tactical deal support and ensuring seamless execution aligned with sales objectives and customer needs.
- Proven ability to implement best practices in pricing operations, including digital pricing enablement and governance frameworks.
- Strong collaboration skills with a focus on cross-functional process integration and optimization
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to extract insights from data and translate them into actionable recommendations.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with evolving priorities
- Ability to exercise independent judgment and make timely decisions that balance customer needs, sales objectives, and company policies.
- High attention to detail, operate with autonomy with a structured and efficient approach to problem-solving
- Autonomous and self-driven in managing daily tasks with minimal oversight, ensuring accuracy in commercial transactions while enhancing the customer experience through efficient deal support and continuous improvement
