This role is responsible for accelerating delivery of complex capabilities and programs to solve problems for and delight our Accountants and Tax professionals. We are looking for a strategic, creative problem solver who can influence stakeholders across the organization and lead high-visibility, high-impact programs end-to-end to deliver business results. What you'll bring

  • 5+ years of Program Management experience with ability to demonstrate a working knowledge of program management craft skills, tools, and techniques.
  • 3+ years leading multiple complex technology-focused programs end-to-end.
  • Self-starter able to track complex and/or large volume of details (technical and non-technical), manage and coordinate with many cross-functional teams (product development, marketing, sales, customer care, etc...), across business units and multiple sites.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to work in a matrix environment, and ability to influence at all levels.
  • Outstanding communication skills appropriate for engineers and executive-level audiences. Ability to communicate goals of programs, relationship to business goals, provide summarized exec views, while also being able to get into the details. Self-awareness of what to share with each audience.
  • Exceptional ability to build strong relationships and leverage those relationships to influence across organizational boundaries for delivery of best outcomes.
  • Degree in engineering, computer science, information systems or equivalent experience.
  • Strong technical acumen with expertise in software development approach, architecture, and lifecycle
  • Good understanding of SaaS technologies or demonstrated ability to collaborate with engineering teams on complex technology programs

How you will lead

  • Partner with Business and Technology leaders to execute the strategy for one or more key ProTax Group programs.
  • Drive multi-year multi-phase program roadmaps across multiple contributing teams.
  • Develop program charters ensuring the scope aligns with business priorities.
  • Develop & deliver program plans that encompass all phases of planning, implementation, production readiness and support defining a cross-functional program structure.
  • Provide steady leadership in the face of uncertainty, change, and aggressive deadlines common to a rapidly growing company with an evolving business model.
  • Establish program operating rhythms leading cross-functional meetings and fostering teamwork. Quickly and effectively identify and clarify the critical few issues and drive appropriate data-backed decisions and actions. Communication results clearly and in actionable form.
  • Use data to assess progress to plan, identify trends and communicate progress, report status, and provide relevant insights across organizational boundaries and levels from individual contributor to senior executive.
  • Drive data driven recommendations to execute, monitor and communicate progress, tradeoffs and decisions needed.
  • Participates in opportunities to engage with the program management community to continuously improve program management craft skills.
