Overview

Intuit is looking for a highly passionate, talented and aspiring leader to fill a key position as a Principal, Global Business Development (GBD) for the Intuit Small Business Self-Employed Group (SBSEG . The Global Business Development team is looking for a talented and experienced individual to identify, lead and execute innovative strategic partnerships that drive impactful revenue growth and build a trajectory changing business. This individual will report to the Director of Business Development for Strategic Innovations, and will have significant exposure across both internal and external executive teams.

The ideal candidate for this role must have 7+ years of experience in product business development, Enterprise Sales, Partner Integrations and Strategy, with a track record of closing multimillion dollar deals, influencing change within large organizations, and the ability to synthesize and execute against complex problems and aggressive timelines. This individual should be an end-to-end strategic thinker with the ability to influence others via masterful storytelling.

What you'll bring

  • 7+ years of strategy, new business development and creation of multimillion dollar opportunities with a strong technical understanding of the B2B Fintech space as well as working in an enterprise sales environment
  • Experience and ability to clearly articulate your direct impact within the BD product partnerships lifecycle: Strategy/planning, pipeline development, prospecting, outreach, terms negotiation, contract drafting, and implementation.
  • Experience in building small business lending partnerships and integrations strongly preferred.
  • Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills; ability to frame new, ambiguous and complex issues; able to generate insight through rigorous analysis.
  • Deep understanding and knowledge on terms & conditions and legal contract issues including the ability to form and articulate contractual, technical, financial and strategic value points and strategic trade-offs with partners and internal teams
  • Excels at presentation skills with a high level of comfort presenting to senior management when appropriate
  • Incredible senior gravitas - compelling storytelling and presentation skills with a proven track record of building relationships and influencing senior executives, including C-level, across companies
  • BA required, MBA or MS Degree a plus

How you will lead

  • Lead the strategy with the key stakeholders from the SBSEG leadership teams to solve complex customer problems and innovate with 3rd parties.
  • Oversee each step of the business development lifecycle: Strategy/planning, pipeline development, prospecting, outreach, terms negotiation, contract drafting, and implementation.
  • Drive complex contract negotiations in close collaboration with large enterprise organizations as well as with cross functional team members
  • Works in partnership and as a trusted thought leader with the product and marketing leaders to inform and influence business strategies (e.g., customer problems, key product gaps, new commercial models) across many functional areas.
