Overview

Come join Intuit as the Manager of Business Operations. This role will lead a team of about 5 overseeing the building of long-term strategy and execution for the segment.

This leader will need to translate the business strategy and priorities into a shared vision for the team. Focus on developing a high-performance culture where the team thrives in a dynamic environment of change and needs to push through ambiguity. Develop talent succession plans for the team. Additionally, be a teacher, mentor to continuously improve craft skills and come up with innovative ways to drive impact Define principles and implement processes and frameworks enabled to scale quickly.

Candidates should also have a proven track record in developing business strategies, connecting them to implementation, learning and change management plans. A compelling data-backed storyteller with strong presentation skills and at ease with working with Executive leaders within the organization to influence, partner and surface critical data to drive the business at velocity and maximum impact.

What you'll bring

  • 10+ years' experience including roles in business operations, management consulting, or strategy in sizable corporate,
  • 5+ years leadership experience and a proven track record of building high performance culture,
  • Proven track record in managing large-scale, complex programs in conjunction with a range of cross-functional leaders and mission-based teams.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and presentation skills; capacity to bring disparate points of view together into a coherent story and formulate recommendations for executives.
  • Ambitious, self-starter, thrives in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment, effectively balances priorities without sacrificing detail or quality.
  • Proven track record of using data and insight backed hypotheses and strategies to generate significant business outcomes, together with a strong expertise in project management.

How you will lead

You will be supporting the Director of Business Operations in developing, updating, and driving the overall business strategy and successfully delivering outcomes for the business.

  • Establish a work atmosphere where team members feel highly empowered and have a strong feeling of ownership and belonging.
  • Provide regular and actionable feedback to foster the professional growth and development of your team members; make sure they can adapt to changing circumstances and evolve as a unit.
  • Assisting Executive sponsors and the wider organization in defining a holistic and comprehensive strategy execution plan which includes product, operational and go-to market.
  • Managing performance scorecards and KPls, ensuring it is current, factual, and accurate and enables actionable insights leading to quick decisions.
  • Leveraging escalation appropriately to eliminate roadblocks and move at velocity.
  • Driving complex data analysis to propose changes in strategy as well as pivots to execution
  • Providing ad-hoc support on special projects and creating clear objectives for mission based teams.
  • Communicating recommendations to Executive leadership in a clear, concise, and impactful way, sometimes in high pressure situations with minimal direction and iteration,
  • Breaking down complex business problems and backing up reasoning using advanced analysis and insights,
  • Build and maintain strong relationships across the Intuit ecosystem and Business Operations community to ensure that we are thinking holistically, with One Intuit mindset and end to end across all functions in the context of driving growth.
  • Design operating models and rhythms to enable effective decision making and information flow, run and facilitate business reviews and planning meetings to improve the way we work together.
