Marketing Analytics & Insights Capability Owner
Intuit's Consumer Group (CG) Digital Activation Team (part of the Go-to-Market Operations and Technology team within the TurboTax marketing organization) manages the capabilities and data enablement for targeting, personalization, suppression, optimization and insights, all with compliance and data stewardship. This includes the onboarding of data, creation and delivery of digital audiences using 1st/2nd/3rd party data, multi-channel journey orchestration, client- and server-side data collection/orchestration, and management of analytics & insights technologies, while continuously improving quality & speed.
The Digital Activation Team is looking for an experienced Sr. Marketing Manager with a strong background in marketing analytics capabilities and data onboarding to own CG's marketing analytics/insights technologies and lead the onboarding of data to our internal attribute store and audience activation platforms. The ideal candidate will be able to work with multiple stakeholders across data engineering, strategy/advertising, legal, product development, product management, analytics, agency partners and vendor reps to ensure we have the capabilities and data needed to drive successful marketing campaigns. Additionally, this role will have one direct report supporting all of the areas mentioned above.

What you'll bring
- 10+ years professional experience in marketing, product management, or marketing analytics
- Experience managing analytics/marketing technologies, including Adobe Analytics implementation/administration, mobile SDKs and app attribution tracking, and deep understanding of clickstream data. Experience with SQL, Alteryx, or similar a plus
- Demonstrated high levels of ownership, responsibility, and initiative
- Experience with multiple digital marketing channels (i.e. Paid Search, Display, Email, Affiliates, and Social and Mobile marketing, as well as Web Properties)
- Experience partnering with data engineers and engineering architects on understanding and defining requirements for data enablement pipelines
- Required skills include: strong communicator, influencer across teams and various levels and ability to communicate technology to non-technical stakeholders, detail oriented with the ability to see the big picture, team player, excellent teaching and training skills, self-starter with a growth mindset, effectively identify critical items that need action and drive them to closure. Balance business needs and technical constraints.
How you will lead
- CG Ownership of Marketing Analytics & Insights Technologies:
- Adobe Analytics Owner: Ensure marketing stakeholders have the data needed in Adobe Analytics, manage configurations and enable new data pipelines, support CG marketing analytics team to drive channel stakeholder adoption. Work with Adobe to influence external roadmap and share new capabilities with internal stakeholders.
- Mobile Measurement Partner (MMP) Owner: Manage mobile data collection and attribution technologies including creation of smartlinks, troubleshooting & resolving issues, etc. Partner with the product development team on SDK management for native app. Partner with the advertising & analytics teams on the mobile tracking strategy.
- Data Visualization Platform & Marketing Data Standardization Capability Owner: partner with Advertising and Analytics teams to ensure data needed for the platform is available, serve as admin and support with new configurations as needed.
- Digital Experience Intelligence Capability Owner: manage access to the platform, configuration needs and training/usage questions from CG marketing stakeholders
- For all capabilities above: Own budgeting, forecasting, accruals and vendor relationship management for owned technologies. Work across Intuit & the central GTM Tech Team on the x-Intuit capability strategies. Contribute to 1 and 3-year planning. Partner with stakeholders to define business strategies that leverage existing capabilities and identify gaps for product roadmap consideration. Communicate progress, strategies, learnings, risks to senior management and the broader org.
CG Data Onboarding Lead:- Translate business to technical requirements and submit the technical data needs in the self-serve onboarding tools
- Work across functional teams to ensure data requested for marketing campaigns are clear, deadlines are met, and data is QA'd and meets expectations
- Deep understanding and serve as SME of how data is captured, processed through data pipelines, and used in final destination platforms
- Support / drive resolution of data issues
- Partner with DAT Operational Excellence lead to drive knowledge sharing, establish operational runbooks and documentation to increase overall rigor
People Management:- This role has both individual contributor responsibilities and people management responsibilities. The Marketing Manager (MM) reporting to this Senior Marketing Manager role will support in analytics and insights capability configuration/execution support and the data onboarding. As a people manager, this role will be responsible for weekly and monthly discussions with their direct report, raising risks and blockers for the team, sharing accomplishments and coaching the MM on the capabilities and onboarding.
