We are looking for a customer-obsessed, strategic, and analytical sales leader with experience and a passion for leading and inspiring sales teams. Reporting to Mailchimp's Head of Sales, you will lead a team of sales leaders and sellers with a focus on customer acquisition of mid-market customers as well as setting up new and existing customers for continued growth and expansion. You will collaborate closely with the Head of Sales and Chief Sales Officer and cross functional leaders to strategically grow our mid market customer segment in North America and help innovate our sales process and coverage model globally.

What you'll bring

  • 10+ years of SaaS sales experience with eCommerce and/or MarTech focus
  • Experienced people manager (including leading leaders) who has built high-performing teams and demonstrated ability to implement execution strategies to effectively manage, coach, & balance both team/individual goals
  • Experience leading and scaling both inbound and outbound sales motions and working with mid market customers
  • Strong analytical, planning and problem-solving skills with in depth understanding of sales levers, metrics, performance standards and sales methodology
  • An unwavering positive attitude, strong drive for results, and the ability to deal with ambiguity
  • Strong track record in delivering industry-leading sales results
  • Demonstrable capabilities in building and scaling sales teams from early stages and leading transformation
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to inspire customers and internal teams
  • Proven success in partnering, influencing and collaborating internally and externally toward shared vision and goals
  • BA or BS degree minimum. MBA preferred

How you will lead

  • In partnership with the sales leadership team, build and execute a customer acquisition strategy (across Inbound and Outbound) to bring in Mid-Market businesses to Mailchimp as well as accelerate customer growth overall
  • Attract and grow best in class talent to enable a high performing mid-market sales team
  • Work with sales, onboarding, and strategy leaders to influence sales program design, sales incentive plans and define a sales strategy that connects across other global GTM functions to enable a seamless mid market customer journey
  • Lead the team with operational rigor and data driven approach to continually understand business performance and deliver quarterly and annual sales targets
  • Collaborate across Intuit to share and learn best practices to continue to drive growth and to implement process improvement
  • Work with the North American QuickBooks teams to ensure we develop a strategy around joint go to market and execute against it
  • Quickly test new ideas, using our Innovation practices, combining data and insight to learn and innovate rapidly
  • Lead the best customer listening engine to capture insights and feedback to influence product roadmaps and tools/infrastructure to improve the experience of customers and sellers
  • Help remove barriers, acting as an escalation point when needed to help solve,triage, or close prospective accounts
  • Lead inclusively, by fostering Intuit's values and cultivating an environment of diversity, inclusion and belonging. Actively support our true north DEI goals and lead by example with all practices
