This role focuses on setting the standard for outstanding communication, change management and program management as we drive this transformational change across Finance. This leader will deliver outcomes with speed, empower us to drive change with excellence, and enhance our ability to scale Finance's impact across Intuit.

The Finance Transformation Program Manager is responsible for leading and managing the planning, execution, and delivery of finance transformation initiatives in an organization. This position involves leading a cross-functional team of finance professionals, business systems analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of transformation initiatives, where all transformation goals are met with best in class communication and change management, enabling the finance function to scale with the business growth.

The individual will serve as a strategic leader and steward, requiring exceptional communication and change management skills, strong cross-functional skills, effective program management, strong business acumen and knowledge of the finance functions, experience to effectively manage finance transformational programs and communicate with cross-functional partners, be able to work effectively with diverse groups, be skillful with quantitative/qualitative analytical methodologies, tools and dashboards, use data to drive decisions, is able to identify risks, be able to escalate effectively, identify correction action early, drive decisions and ensure successful and timely delivery of projects to completion with the highest level of quality. This individual must be a driver, leader, team player, and thought partner.

What you'll bring

  • Bachelor's degrees in finance, accounting, business, or a related field, or equivalent work experience with financial acumen, strong business orientation, and strategic mindset. MBA or Master's degree preferred.
  • At least ten (10) years of experience in finance transformation, finance operations, financial planning & analysis, or a related field, with demonstrated knowledge and understanding of financial processes, best practices, and standards coupled with experience leading complex change management programs.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and delivering large-scale finance transformation programs in a fast-paced environment, working across multiple stakeholders/partners.
  • Familiarity with finance technology applications and platforms, including financial systems and reporting tools, ERP systems, and automation tools/applications.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills, and experience with escalating early to fuel velocity.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to manage, motivate, and influence a cross-functional team of professionals. Proven track record of driving effective change management and experience with communication at all levels of an organization.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build durable relationships with stakeholders across the organization.
  • Culturally aware; experience communication and working with a global audience.

How you will lead

  • Develop and oversee the finance transformation program's overall strategy, timeline, budget, and resources to meet business objectives.
  • Define the scope of finance transformation, assess the impacts on finance processes, and identify key stakeholders and their requirements.
  • Define, design, and implement finance transformation process improvements, controls, and operational efficiencies.
  • Lead the identification and implementation of technology solutions to enable finance transformation in partnership with IT and other teams, including automation of finance processes.
  • Implement best practices for finance operations, financial accounting & reporting, forecasting, planning & analysis, budgeting & control, treasury, taxation, etc.
  • Develop and implement change management plans, including communication plans, training plans, and other related deliverables to ensure successful change adoption. Creates compelling written content and visually engaging graphics; uses video to enhance impact and messaging, as appropriate
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders, including finance, business partners, IT, and external partners such as auditors.
  • Measure and track the benefits of the finance transformation program against established goals and targets.
  • Manage program communications and stakeholder engagement, ensuring clear, concise, and timely updates and maintaining alignment between the program and the organization's overall strategic direction.
  • Manage and motivate the finance transformation team, ensuring high levels of collaboration, quality standards, and adherence to best practices.
  • Manage, motivate and influence a cross-functional team of finance professionals, business systems analysts, and other stakeholders, ensuring proper communication channels and alignment between the program and overall strategic direction of the organization.
  • Monitor and report on program performance, including metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of finance transformation initiatives.
  • Identify and mitigate program risks and escalate issues and challenges to senior management as appropriate.
