The successful candidate will support the execution of our internal education strategy with a particular focus on Sales and Onboarding enablement and training. A successful candidate will help assure our team receives the right training, skills, and solutions while achieving organizational and business objectives.

This position will report to the Manager of Global Enablement & Training and will interface directly with the members of Sales and Onboarding teams. Primary focus of this role is facilitation for new hire onboarding, employee enablement, and educational materials for scale. Everything this role does will help ensure consistent exemplary experience for Mailchimp's customers and employees.

What you'll bring

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience
  • Facilitation skills, including skills to open, narrow, and close large group discussions, manage dialogue between participants
  • Experience in identifying and managing complex group dynamics and reacting in real time to changes in content and/or process
  • Comfortability with product training and tool training (Salesforce)
  • Ability to think strategically in a complex environment
  • Strong written and oral communication and listening skills
  • Ability to activate on defined strategies and inform potential opportunities for enhancements
  • Ability to enthusiastically take initiative and work independently
  • Demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced, frequently changing, and evolving environment
  • Successful ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively towards individual, team, and company goals
  • Proven track record of cross functional collaboration
  • Experience in process improvement; lean startup or design thinking a plus
  • Advanced problem solving and analytical skills; demonstrated ability to structure complex problems, develop solutions, and craft high quality executive presentations
  • Experience with Mailchimp or similar product preferred

How you will lead

  • Create and facilitate functional product trainings, tooling trainings, and skills enhancement trainings
  • Facilitate and coach instructor-led workshops, micro-learnings, and/or other types of virtual sessions on a variety of topics as needed.
  • Facilitate, lead, promote, and role model training on our unique sales methodology - The Customer Decision Cycle (CDC), and Challenger Selling skills.
  • Create and deliver Train-the-Trainer material
  • Create and/or maintain training materials, including presentations, online content, and additional resources for product competency, skill development and tooling adoption
  • Provides coaching, mentoring, and informal leadership to other trainers
  • Works flexible hours to support delivery of workshops which exceed the typical workday when needed
  • Training compliance audits for outsourcers and vendors
  • Support metrics and objectives for enablement and make recommendations for increasing productivity
  • Support long-range planning, strategic processes, and execution of Global Enablement & Training team
  • Partners with instructional designers, operations teams, and marketing teams during needs analysis to analyze new or redesigned workshops and provides input and feedback after course is delivered
  • Evaluates learner performance against standards. Provides feedback to the learners and their leaders, that may include carrying out performance management procedures up to and including termination.
