In this role, you will leverage our extensive 11 billion buyer-supplier knowledge graph to drive innovation and create cutting-edge solutions. Your leadership will be pivotal in harnessing this vast dataset to develop intelligent systems that optimize and transform our business processes. You will guide your team in exploring new methodologies, ensuring that our machine learning models are not only robust but also scalable and efficient. Your ability to innovate with this unique resource will set new standards in the industry and propel our company to the forefront of technological advancement.
What You'll Do:
- Use machine learning, data mining, statistical techniques, and others to create actionable, meaningful, and scalable solutions for business problems.
- Analyze and extract relevant information from large amounts of data and derive useful insights.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for natural language processing (NLP) and natural language understanding (NLU), and partner with functional experts across the company to tackle challenging problems in this space.
- Provide technical guidance to product teams on the choice of machine learning approaches appropriate for various tasks.
- Establish scalable, efficient, automated processes for large-scale data analyses, model development, model validation, and model implementation.
- Develop and enhance the predictive capability of in-house developed supply chain risk models for use by major enterprises.
- Work with MLOps to deploy, monitor, and maintain production systems using your models.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.

Compensation
- Base Salary Range: $200,000 - $240,000 USD (depending on experience and location)
- Variable Compensation: Performance-based annual bonus or Commission Plan
- Equity: Stock options included as part of total compensation package

Work Environment, Location and Travel:
This is a remote-first role open to candidates legally authorized to work in the United States. Employees may optionally work from our Arlington, VA HQ. This position may require up to 50% travel.
