ATM (Assembly and Test Manufacturing) is Intel's back-end manufacturing network, which is a critical part of Intel IDM2.0 strategy including advanced package to differentiate Intel's product competitiveness. ATM has a rich portfolio of products serving all Intel business segments, e.g., client, network/connectivity, automotive, server and more. This Senior Test Equipment/Process Engineering is a critical role within the ATM Test department to work with global teams to support the product roadmap in ATM and act as the interface with BU and customers in daily operations. Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Owns critical high volume manufacturing equipment and processes that enable rapid device miniaturization and the mass production of integrated circuits.
- Recommends and implements modifications for operating the equipment in order to improve production efficiencies, manufacturing techniques and optimizing production output for existing products, to meet safety, quality and cost indicator goals.
- Grows insitu manufacturing capacity to high volumes to demonstrate the technology capability while simultaneously transferring the technology to counterparts in manufacturing sites across the globe.
- Initiates and owns the continuous improvement of equipment and process for key performance indicators (e.g., safety, quality, cost, productivity, defects, and yield) and works with equipment suppliers as required.
- Drive innovations to keep equipment and process competitive in semiconductor industry.
- Define business process to make test operation cost competitive and efficient
- Participates in the transfer of technology to other sites through training and audit of installation and qualification outcomes to ensure matched processing across sites.
- Owns development and optimization of excursion prevention systems for the equipment and process.
- Outline the Manufacturability & Productivity boundary for ATM and drive for improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a Science or Engineering field with 8+ years of semiconductor testing experience or Master's degree in a Science or Engineering field with 5+ years of semiconductor testing experience.
- Strong technical and troubleshooting skills to resolve problems, quality improvement/tool improvement/cost improvement actions.
- Experience Leading taskforces to resolve problems, quality improvement/tool improvement/ cost improvement actions.
- Ability to communicate complex concepts, solutions, and strategic initiatives in both written and verbal environments.
- Strong influence skills and teamwork spirit.
- OSAT experience in driving LEAN process and cost efficiency will be a plus.
