Job Description
Network and Edge Software Platform Validation Group is looking for a Senior Platform Validation Engineer/Technical Domain expert for validation of software and hardware on Intel Network/Edge products. The platforms are representative of our customer end solutions and in few cases the actual customer design or Intel branded product. You will be responsible for planning, understanding key features and landing zones, develop, automate and execute to the product specifications.
Your responsibilities will include but are not be limited to:
- Developing and maintaining Intel platform validation process and methodologies.
- Developing and maintaining platform validation test plan and BKMs and driving flawless execution to meet the quality goals.

- Leading complex issue debugging and support critical quality events by proactive coordination with relevant stakeholders.
- Define automation strategy and develop software automation test scripts and utilities.
Experience in Graphics, Media , Display Domain, integrated GPU and discreet GPU Validation.
- Must be self-motivated and be able to make decisions with little or no direction and be able to deal with ambiguity.
- Must have excellent written and oral communication skills and be able to effectively collaborate and communicate with global stakeholders.
- Validate, and debug software across the stack for a specific product, platform, feature, or technology.
- Design and develop a software validation environment, the integration, and the enabling of the software stack.
- Responsible for the creation of validation plans, automation, associated methodologies, and triage and debugging of failures.
- Write validation standards and procedures, analyze the results to ensure correct functionality, triage failures, and recommend or develops corrective action.
- Assess the state of the art and employ new methods to improve quality, automation, and product release efficiency.
- Able to guide and mentor team members.
Qualifications
Experienced engineers/domain experts with BS/MS plus 10 years of experience in roles of software integration and validation in embedded domain.Has relevant experience working on projects with - E2E development/or validation knowledge on Platform Solutions Validation, tools and methodologies (including test plans, DFx, sysdbgs (system debug) etc.)- System level knowledge to understand SW/HW design for ease of validation, root-cause of complex bugs which need platform level experience- Working knowledge of SW and HW debug tools- Validation in PSS environment before silicon/platform arrives using FPGAs, N-1 platforms- Knows C/C /Python/scripting languages. Linux and Windows OS experience.- Understanding complex software for new technologies for accelerators related to ML/CV/AI will be advantage- Knowledge of OS, SOC architecture, Server validation (RAS), IO, Network Virtualization, Graphics Virtualization, Containers, Network/storage acceleration, Computer vision is highly desirable.Other qualifications include:- Ability to work well in a diverse team environment and with others in cross-site organizations.- Good communication and documentation skills.- Strong self-initiative and persistence with ability to deal with ambiguity to focus and achieve end goals. - The candidate must have a high focus on discipline in execution, a relentless pursuit of quality and excellent customer orientation.

Working Model
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
