Job Description
This Individual Contributor role resides within the Fab, Construction and New Build Logistics (FCL) team with Intel's Global Logistics Organization (GLO). GLO provides end to end logistics services for all Intel business units across the supply chain from factory to end customer logistics. GLO directly enables Intel's IDM 2.0 strategy through its logistics assets placed in strategic locations across the globe. This position, based in Intel's facility in Hillsboro, OR, will manage international, US domestic transportation operations for Capital Equipment / Machinery for multiple business units / factories. This role will partner heavily with Intel's global logistics service providers, supply chain teams and Original Equipment Manufacturers spread across the globe to deliver world class logistics capabilities across air, ocean, ground and multi-modal solutions.

Key deliverables of this position will include management of logistics performance of highly specialized cargo transportation as measured by On Time Delivery, Quality of service, Cost savings, proactive and customized logistics solutions for evolving Intel needs.
Logistics Operations Managers manage the overall logistics of one or more categories and owns performance metrics to meet the operational needs of logistics function. Monitors key metrics and implements best practices to ensure that all operational activities adhere to laws, guidelines, and Intel's standard requirements. Reports progress against agreed schedule, scope, cost, and quality constraints to senior leaders on a regular basis. Manages suppliers for the storage or movement of inbound, interplant, and outbound material, equipment, and finished goods. Monitors and benchmarks supplier services against the service level agreement. Guides the suppliers to evolve their service levels in line with Intel requirements. Gathers data on existing processes from partners, stakeholders, customers and analyzes it to discover areas of defects, inefficiencies, or escalations. Tracks and resolves shipping, warehouse, and carrier shipping errors, as well as logistics exceptions. Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to assure the most efficient delivery of products to customers. Utilizes analytical and advanced technology skills to develop logistics solutions that drive Intel's business execution optimally. Builds solid relationships with cross functional teams and logistics service providers, ensuring smooth process flow and collaboration. Manages critical escalations arising in the logistics network such that there is minimal impact on customer service.

Qualifications
Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in supply chain, logistics, business domain, or related field of study.
AND
- 4+ years work experience in supply chain functions
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in business / supply chain.
- Prior experience with international transportation of semi conductor equipment / machinery
- Prior experience in managing global logistics suppliers, OEMs
- Conversant with International transportation of highly specialized / sensitive cargo
- Familiarity with ERP systems, Data Analytics

Working Model
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
