As an integral part of Intel's new IDM2.0 strategy, we are establishing Intel Foundry Services, a fully vertical, standalone foundry business.

In this role you will create emulation models from a combination of RTL design and transactor models for new SoC designs. You will be a member of the big-box emulator team which enables RTL system level validation and enable pre-silicon SW development and validation.

Responsibilities may include but not limited to:

• Develop and implement emulation models for ASIC designs
• Work with design and verification teams to ensure accurate emulation
• Support validation and FW driver teams who use the emulators for their role

The ideal candidate should exhibit the following behavioral traits:

• Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills, as well is good written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to work cross-geo/site when needed to accomplish results.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

What we need to see (Minimum Qualifications):

• Bachelors in Electrical Engineering or related field and 3+ years of experience or masters degree in Electrical Engineering or related field and 2+ years of industry experience.
• 3 + months experience in RTL design, verification, and embedded FW
• 3 + months experience with Verilog, C, C++ and Python languages.
• 3 + months experience debugging and problem-solving skills.
• 3 + months experience with DDR, PCIe and CXL standards.

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

• Big box emulator knowledge such as the Synopsys Zebu, or Cadence Palladium or Siemens Veloce.

Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in Canada:CAD 85,600.00-128,200.00
Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience

Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
