This is a senior position with the responsibility to drive Engineering Planning's future solutions footprint and roadmap, that will enable the Engineering Planning organization in achieving its strategic business objectives.

  • Provide thought-leadership, through robust knowledge of best-in-class supply planning capabilities
  • Envision, govern and drive the future state of Engineering Planning solutions based on learning and sensing the evolving Product, Manufacturing Technology, and Supply Chain advancement
  • Work closely with Enterprise Planning domain experts (Business and Solutions Providers) translating Intel's business needs into detailed Engineering planning solution architecture roadmaps
  • Drive and ensure adoption of best practices and integrated B2B solutions designs across Engineering planning, to eliminate siloed solutions that rely heavily on human-glue
  • Identify and evaluate fit-for-purpose Enterprise planning solutions, with emphasis on reusability and scalability; create proposals for their adoption based on business goals, investments, benefits, and risks
  • Create the Engineering planning to-be interaction models across the footprint of multiple solutions, and phased implementation approach to achieve strategic business objectives and operational efficiencies for Enterprise Planning
  • Collaborate with IT and Architects to develop forward-looking strategic and tactical plans for a digitized Engineering Planning network
  • Lead and facilitate cross-functional solution design discussions with business process owners, technically translate while advocating requirements and recommending ways for Solutions Providers. Identify critical barriers to success
  • Providing design criteria for control and oversight of the development teams to ensure capabilities are delivered in line with the design intentions and objectives
  • Establishing an Engineering Planning business end-state blueprint in an 18 -24 month horizon
  • Expertise in Road-mapping in partnership with our Enterprise Planning Strategist
  • Supply Chain Solutions enablement and strategy to action expertise
  • Working on various capabilities enablement to ensure integration of inter-dependencies

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.

Minimum Qualifications:
The candidate must possess at least one of the following two options:

1. Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering/Supply Chain Management/Computer Science or related field of study.

6 or more years of experience in any combination of the following:

  • Enabling ERP capabilities, particularly in Supply Chain using Blue Yonder (JDA), SAP IBP, SAP.
  • Supply chain architecture, capabilities and process flows for IDM
  • Supply chain in External and hybrid manufacturing.

    OR

2. Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial and System Engineering/BA/Computer Science or related field of study.

6 or more years of experience in any combination of the following:

  • Enabling ERP capabilities, particularly in Supply Chain using Blue Yonder (JDA), SAP IBP, SAP.
  • Supply chain architecture, capabilities and process flows for IDM
  • Supply chain in External and hybrid manufacturing

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, California: $141,673.00-$241,005.00
*Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience

Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
