Job Description
We're looking for an Infrastructure and DevOps Engineer to develop and support CI/CD modules for validation of a large software development toolset. The responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:Development of Defect Management System to automatically create, detect duplicates of, update, and close high-quality defect reports in real time based on data from massive CI/CD pipelines.Development of new features in Python-based modules such as Validation Engine and Validation Framework, based on requirements and coding standards. Proactive clarification of requirements.Collaboration with other teams in multiple GEOs, integration of complex features.
Qualifications
Minimal qualifications:Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or a similar field.4 years of related experience in software development/testing and/or infrastructure development.Strong Python programming experience.Strong experience in defect management, understanding of a defect life cycle from developer, tester and program manager perspectives, knowledge about expectations from defect reports, ability to create clear actionable defect reports, skill and desire to collect the necessary information to make them so.Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.Experience with Git, JIRA, Jenkins and GitHub Actions, including corresponding APIs.Ability to work with minimal supervision based on high-level requirements and get things done.Knowledge and understanding of DevOps principles. Desire and skill to automate everything.Desire to write clean, reliable, high-quality code, covered by unit tests.Desire to grow and learn new technologies.Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.Strong verbal and written English. Additional qualification that will be a plus:Experience in Data Analytics, ML/DL.Experience in C development.Experience in Databases.Knowledge of development tools ecosystem.Experience in Windows, Linux and macOS. Ideally system programming experience.Experience with high-load, high-reliability systems.Experience in JIRA project configurationExperience in Defect Management Automation

Working Model
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
