Job Role:
- Design verification & Performance verification involving TestBench development, test writing , architecture/functional modeling, functional coverage closure and debug
- Define functional/performance verification strategy and develop execution test plans for the same.
- Understand and drive various GPU and Machine Learning and/or AI Performance benchmarks on RTL via Simulation or Emulation to achieve the planned performance targets.
- Debug and root cause the performance bottlenecks in the design and influence the Arch and micro-arch design teams on appropriate changes to the design.
- Ensure that validation sign off meets all the required matrices of coverage, pass rates, performance criterion as well as feature goals.
- Guiding and mentoring junior engineers in the team.
Qualifications
What we are looking for :
- Bachelor or Masters of Engineering degree or equivalent, with 5+ years' experience in silicon development. Additional qualifications include:
- Experience with RTL verification and validation of microarchitecture using Verilog/SystemVerilog/UVM/Assembly/C++
- Exposure to CPU or GPU Architecture ( Computer Architecture Knowledge). Performance verification at IP or System level is a plus.
- Experience with coverage driven verification, testbench development, functional modeling and test writing/debug
- Experience with industry standard front-end design and verification flows/tools/methodology.
- Good scripting knowledge (shell/PERL/Python)

Working Model
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
