Who You Are

  • Technical and hands-on experience Design for Debug (Jtag / tracing & triggering) methodologies for Client graphics post-Silicon feature validation.
  • Deep understanding of HW/SW and FW flows for both client and datacenter at platform and Silicon level. -Working through various teams at the silicon SoC level up through BIOS, system firmware, and OS levels.
  • Responsible for test plan development, execution, and path clearing problems for a cross geography team.
  • Driving end to end debug enabling strategy for discrete graphics products.
  • Familiarity with PSS platforms and emulation to drive decomposition reviews for power management flows.
  • Working in collaboration with SoC and graphics software engineering teams in left-shifting the tools enabling in emulation/simulation environments for having the tools ready on day one of the power-ons.
  • Driving detailed technical readiness for all debug enabling solutions for the graphics products, identifying gaps/risks and work with stakeholders to resolve them.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Computer Engineering, or any related field with 3+ years industry experience or, Master's Degree in the Electrical, Electronic, Computer Engineering, or any related field with 2+ years' industry experience.

Relevant coursework/experience will include:

  • Working knowledge of UNIX, and Windows environments.
  • Convert debug requirements to tool/solution features to meet customer needs is critical.
  • Familiarity of the debug probes and debugging using the same.
  • Solid Python coding skills
  • Experience with x86 architecture.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Exposure to Design for debug (DFD) technologies and tools
  • Device drivers development/debug.
  • Working knowledge of 3D graphics pipeline and display interfaces.
  • C++ skills

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, California: $106,231.00-$159,109.00
*Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience
