The scope of our work includes but is not limited to New Wafer Fabrication factories (Fabs), Fab Conversions, Process Tools Install, Infrastructure, and Progressive Build. In any given workday, you will be given the responsibility to innovate and create an impact on our business.This position is for a Layout Dependent (LOD) and Process Specific Support Systems (PSSS) Project Manager. The candidate will be accountable for the project safety, quality, scope, schedule and budget. Progressive Build includes clean room factory, lab, data centers, and other support spaces. LOD and PSSS systems include the Specialty Gases, Bulk Chemical Distribution Systems, Planar Chemical Delivery Systems, Hazardous Production Material (HPM) Life Safety Systems as well as exhaust/non-HPM laterals supporting Factory process tools. This is an on-site position at our campus in Aloha, Oregon and relocation assistance will be provided. Training assignments at other domestic or international locations may be required.As a Layout Dependent (LOD), Process Specific Support Systems (PSSS) Project Manager, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Resolve problems in delivery of the LOD, and PSSS services.Assess risk and identify issues.Monitor progress against budget and schedule.Develop gap closing plans to mitigate project risks.Develop and/or reviewing scope of work to Construction Management firms, Architectural and Engineering firms, and Discipline specific trade contractors.Ensure that scope deliverables are clear and are of sufficient detail.Ensure contracts to execute all required aspects of the scope are in place prior to work being committed.Ensure construction scope is aligned to the Work Breakdown Structure.Review prospective firms validating they are qualified, and deliverables of contract will support proper execution of the project.Manage change of the project scope by identification of when a change occurs, documenting what has changed, quantifying the cost impact and ensuring Construction Change Of Scope (CCOS) and Change Orders (CO's) are documented and appropriately approved.Accountable for project schedule including L1, L2 and L3 milestones related to Capacity, LOD, and PSSS scope of work.Work with Schedulers to build project schedule. Identifies tasks, determines dependencies, identifies and secures resources, Participating and supporting schedule integration process communicates expectations to team members, obtain task effort and duration estimates from team members, and create/track the project schedule.Lead incident investigations for assigned scope of work and responsible for documenting findings and communicating root causes.Ensure site incident prevention programs are being followed and proper notification of impactive work is provided.Direct and facilitate team meetings. Ensures that discipline meetings are effective and support progressing the job to closure.Approve construction invoices and verification of percent complete against invoice value.Ensure appropriate payment discount terms are captured. Lead resolution of escalated issues as they arise.Review project estimates and budgets validating cost to CS benchmarks such as the PSSS Model of Record (MOR).Own forecasting budget for indirect, general conditions, construction contingency, field coordination (stacking, crowding), and scheduling (acceleration/deceleration).Own bucketing' commits, Yet-to-Buy (YTB) Forecasting; also, identifying any scope defined by the Issue for Construction (IFC) package not 'bought out' as YTB.Own Project closeout from project start through finish, maintaining regular report out on status of work completed against contract requirements ensuring smooth project closeout process.Implement, identify and communicate Lessons Learned for project.Build and drive safety Culture of Care in every business environment, office to the construction sites, and from front-end planning to construction execution.The successful candidate should exhibit the following behavioral traits:Organization skillsDetail orientedTime management skillsCommunication skills to perform effective presentation of project status and issues both verbally and through presentations to senior management.Influencing skillsExpertise to negotiate win-win agreements using data and analytical skillsLeadership skills to promote teamwork among personnelRole model for safety and willingness to provide a safe working environmentChampion and value the safety Culture of Care throughout the project lifecycle

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.Minimum Qualifications:The candidate must have at least one of the following:Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field with 4 years of experience in Construction Project Management, Facilities or equivalent construction experience.Master of Science degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field with 3 years of experience in Construction Project Management, Facilities or equivalent construction experience.7 years of Construction Project Management experience or equivalent construction leadership expertise will be considered in lieu of a degree.
