Qualifications

Qualifications:
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Education Requirement:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Physics, or related field plus 5 years of industry work experience, or a Master's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Physics, or related field plus 3 years of industry work experience, or PhD in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Physics, or related field plus 2 years of industry work experience.

Minimum Qualifications:
Technical:

• 5 years of experience analyzing and optimizing software using C/C++/intrinsics to drive performance with an ability to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
• 3 year of experience running deep learning models with TensorFlow and/or PyTorch (or Similar deep learning frameworks) and building solutions.
• Knowledge in transformers and language models architecture and experience in writing a kernel.
• 1 year of experience with writing low level Deep Learning kernel.
• 1 year of experience working with Large Language Models LLMs.
• 1 year of experience as a user with source control systems Git and familiarized 1 year of experience with runtime environments with virtualization Linux containers schedulers resource managers.
• Understanding of effective use of the hardware's memory hierarchy, registers, and ISA.

Preferred qualifications:

• knowledgeable in NLP models and experience with Power and Performance Tools;
• 2+ years experience with runtime environments with virtualization, Linux containers, schedulers, resource managers, Kubernetes and orchestration;
• graph- and kernel-level optimizations in TensorFlow, PyTorch, or related library;
• using compiler profiler math and communication libraries;
• analysis of both breadth and depth of a variety of performance sensitive software stacks;
• analyzing performance of largescale applications in complex high-performance computing systems;
• doing performance modeling characterization of compute bound IO transaction latency bound applications;
• working with hardware chip platform solution architects;

Working Model
