Please note: This is a hybrid position and will require commuting to our Flatiron office in NYC 3 days per week.

Job Summary:

The Graphic Designer works directly with the Creative Services and Marketing Team to produce engaging graphics for IIN’s website, print, email and social media.

Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Creation of Marketing Materials including Google and social media advertisements, website design layouts, book layout design, promotion concepts, invitations, curriculum guides, and logo/brand developments.
  • Work closely with the design manager on creative approvals and feedback.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to closely follow brand processes and guidelines.
  • Assist with multiple design projects and create design solutions in a fast-paced, deadline driven high-energy, collaborative environment.
  • Collaborate with digital marketing and copywriters to determine correct visual solutions.
  • Use existing product or brand guidelines to create visually striking experiences, and innovate best design practices that engage the end user on social media channels.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to produce engaging consumer experiences that reflect our brand.
Supervisory Responsibilities: None

Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Proficiency in design programs such as Figma, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Adobe Acrobat Pro and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with being creative within brand guidelines.
  • Demonstrated ability creating deliverables within timeframe/deadlines.
  • Strong typography skills.
  • Thoughtful and appropriate solutions to design challenges.
  • Keep up-to-date with user experience best practices.
  • Strong layout skills.
  • Consistently researching similar brands and what they are doing creatively.
  • Staying current on updates to design software.
  • Excellent communication with design team, as well as stakeholders.

Compensation:

$56,000-$70,000

The range above is for the expectations as laid out in the job description, however we are often open to a wide variety of profiles, and recognize that the person we hire may be less experienced (or more senior) than this job description as posted. If that ends up being the case, the updated salary range will be communicated to you as a candidate.
