Overview
About the Role - We are currently seeking an IT Logistics Technician for our San Francisco office! This role will be responsible for providing stellar logistics and asset support to the IT Support team and our employees across our environment and office! This is an amazing opportunity to work with the latest technology, grow, and have a big impact on the success of the product and the company.
About the Team - The Instacart Information Technology Department is dedicated to supporting all of Instacart with equipment, infrastructure and technical support. We partner with other teams to help streamline processes and find solutions to people's technical challenges.
ABOUT THE JOB
- Provide logistics support for our IT Support team via our ticketing system
- Work hand in hand with the IT Logistics Team and take care of shipping, tracking, and returns
- Assist with onboarding, offboarding, and hardware refreshes, including hardware deployment
- Process and track equipment in our asset management software and ticketing system, including laptops, desktops, accessories, and other IT equipment
- Become familiar with all aspects of our IT environment to help support and maintain
- Maintain and organize inventory of equipment, hardware, and supplies onsite at our office.
ABOUT YOU
Minimum Qualifications
- 1-2 years experience with IT Logistics support, asset management, shipping/receiving, and provisioning
- You are familiar with Mac, Windows, and Chrome operating systems
- Ability to occasionally lift 40 lbs
Preferred Qualifications
- You are familiar with Jira and Oomnitza
- You are inclined to Google things you don't know before asking someone
- You have a friendly personality and love to teach others
- You are great at communicating with all types of people and personalities
- You love technology and delivering great customer service
Instacart provides highly market-competitive compensation and benefits in each location where our employees work. This role is remote and the base pay range for a successful candidate is dependent on their permanent work location. Please review our Flex First remote work policy here.
