Systems Architect

If so, you might be the perfect fit for our System Architect - AI Agent Foundry - Automation Team role.
As a System Architect - AI Agent Foundry - Automation Team you will be responsible for designing a cloud-native, microservices-based architecture for the Agent Foundry Data Platform.

Responsibilities
- Architect and design scalable, modular, and secure systems using modern design patterns.
- Define integration points for AI components, databases, and external services.
- Produce architecture diagrams, technical documentation, and security models.
- Guide engineering teams in implementing the architecture consistently.
- Conduct architecture reviews and performance assessments.
- Ensure compliance with enterprise-grade security, data governance, and performance requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Computer Science, Software/Computer Engineering, or related field; or equivalent practical experience (8+ years building distributed systems). Master in CS/Software Engineering/Information Systems preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in software architecture for large-scale distributed systems.
- Expertise in Microsoft Azure services (AKS, API Management, Azure AD B2C, Blob Storage, Cosmos DB).
- Strong background in microservices architecture, RESTful API design, and containerized deployments (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Bicep, Terraform) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Preferred experience with hybrid cloud and multi-region deployments.
- Proven track record of designing systems for security, scalability, and fault tolerance.
- Architecture certifications are a plus - such as TOGAF and Azure Solutions Architect Expert (or similar).
- Preferred familiarity with AI agent orchestration frameworks (Semantic Kernel, Autogen).
- Excellent communication (internal and client-facing), problem-solving, and organizational skills; ability to work independently or as part of a team.
