Overview

As an Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Solutions Manager, you will be focused on designing, proposing, and helping implement Financial Global Risk and Compliance (GRC) services for clients within the financial and banking sector.

You'll be interacting with executive leaders to understand their challenges and opportunities and developing comprehensive compliance services including KYC, CDD, and EDD services, as well as AML investigation and other related programs.

This role brings an innovative mindset coupled with rich experience and deep regulatory knowledge (FinCEN, BSA, FDIC, etc.) to design and assist in overseeing the implementation of solutions through direct involvement and working with account team, leadership, and operations (delivery) staff.

Responsibilities

  • Multitasking & Prioritizing: Responsible for leading multiple complex and high-priority projects, works closely with project management, finance, and leadership to scope, estimate financials, and prepare and deliver compelling proposals as well as provide overall technical and procedural guidance for assigned solutions/opportunities.
  • Process Improvement & Optimization: Analyzes existing customer systems and process and provides input on ways to improve workflows, while building and maintaining awareness of the broader context and implications of the various types of risk affecting the financial sector.
  • Sales & Solutions: Lead pre-sales efforts with Insight Global Sales team members to understand customer business requirements, scope opportunities, and craft solutions that meet or exceed customer expectations and encapsulate the capabilities within our division all while ensuring they are operable and maintainable.
  • Presentation & Proposal: Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, illustrating value, innovation and differentiation of service, developing sophisticated, high-quality documentation that accurately describes the services, pricing components, value, and assumptions.
  • Staying Current: Maintain a deep understanding of all regulatory requirements and trends within the Financial and Banking GRC space, incorporating evolving market developments and regulations, while developing and sharing industry knowledge with relevant industry-aligned sales and delivery team members.

Qualifications

What You'll Need To Succeed:

  • Experience: Minimum of 6 years of AML/BSA compliance experience, preferably with multiple institutions.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field. MBA or relevant certifications (e.g., ACAMS) are strongly preferred.
  • Skills: The successful candidate will have demonstrated relevant experience within the banking and finance industry, strong organizational and analytical aptitude, excellent communication skills, and robust business acumen, with the ability to understand and break down complex problems.
  • Technologies: Familiarity with industry platforms, such as NICE Actimize, Fiserv, FICO, LexisNexis Risk, etc.
  • Personal Attributes: Problem-solving mindset, adaptability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment, highly persuasive and collaborative, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.

What Else:

  • Experience working with budgeting and financial plan development and management
  • Experience in developing proposals, business plans, and/or business cases (written and presentation)
  • Ability to understand and utilize large datasets to solve complex problems
