Overview

Our team is looking for an experienced Solutions Architect.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include: Designing, developing, and implementing software solutions for our clients' applications and data warehouse. Migrating the suite of analytics applications, including but not limited to IMA, Field editor, Avian, Power BI etc., to a new platform and ensuring their optimal performance and integration. Working closely with the project manager, business analysts, developers, and testers to understand the business requirements, defining technical architecture, and delivering high-quality solutions. Providing technical guidance, best practices, and troubleshooting support throughout the system software project lifecycle. Analyzing the current state of the clients' software applications and data warehouse and identifying the gaps, risks, and opportunities for software improvement. Designing and documenting the target state of the solutions, including the logical and physical software architecture, data models, interfaces, security, and performance. Developing and testing software solutions using the appropriate tools, frameworks, and methodologies. Migrating existing data and applications to the new platforms and ensuring their system compatibility and functionality. Monitoring and optimizing the performance, availability, and scalability of the solutions. Providing technical leadership, mentoring, and support to the project team and stakeholders. Staying updated with the latest trends and technologies in the computer science field and recommending innovative system software solutions. Utilizing various analytics applications, such as IMA, Field editor, Avian, Tabular Model, Power BI etc. Working with cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Working with Python, Java, or C#.

• B.A. in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or closely related.
• 60 months experience in any related Software Developer position.
• 60 months in: ETL; AWS; Terraforms; Concourse; Informatica; SQL Server; MySQL; Python; BI; Oracle; JIRA.
• Telecommuting permitted.
