Position Title: Engagement Manager
Position Summary:
This role will require a hybrid player - part of the job includes the solutioning of complex business problems, helping to design of the software technology to help clients achieve their final goals. The other part of the job requires an overall engagement lead who oversees the entire implementation team and the client relationship to drive the ultimate success of the project.
When this person is required to be a Solution Architect, they will bridge the gap between business problems and technology solutions. Finding the best technology-based solution among all possible to solve the existing business problems. The Solution architect is responsible for describing the structure, characteristics, behavior, and other aspects of the technology to project stakeholders, as well as defining the features, phases, and solution requirements. This individual is brought in on large, complex implementations to consult on overall program and configuration design, and they bring an expert-level understanding of the Contingent Workforce Industry and VMS Technology design. The Solutions Architect will work with the implementation team, including Project Managers & Business Systems Analysts, as needed to develop requirements.
The engagement manager is the ultimate leader over a given client implementation or project. They are responsible for ensuring the project team has the appropriate guidance and strategy, evaluating resource allocation, making modifications to project plans to suit overall client strategy, and retaining the client relationship. This individual can oversee large, complex projects as well as multi-person project teams with a successfully executed implementation plan. This individual can advise all members of the project including the solution architects, project managers, and system analysts. They are the ultimate source of truth and expertise for the client and should uphold Monument's professionalism and excellence in all aspects of delivery.
Responsibilities
Monument consulting is a Contingent Workforce Management firm, and our solution architects/engagement managers must be able to support the solutioning, configuration, and rollout of Contingent Workforce Programs and VMS (vendor management system) tools leveraged by our clients. To be successful in this role, the right individual must understand the architecture of a VMS and know how to design end to end business process workflows, and integrations within the VMS. They must also understand the best practices of best-in-class Contingent Workforce management, including how to design optimal programs, industry trends, and how to successfully manage this type of labor.
- Serves as the thought leader and formulates strategic plans to advance Monument's consulting division and overall product offering.
- Responsible for designing, describing, and managing VMS systems and Contingent Workforce Programs to solve client specific business problems
- Ability to develop process flows
- Provide technical guidance to business system analysts for complex VMS configurations
- Design & build requirements for all integrations. Types of integrations include Single Sign On (SSO), Foundational Data feeds, CW feeds, User feeds, and Invoice Feeds
- Effectively communicate specifications for the solution that is defined, managed, and delivered.
- Advise on best practices for client programs
- Maintain knowledge of VMS landscape, Contingent Workforce industry trends and new regulations & educate the broader organization
- Support new clients in sales cycle
- Build templates for delivery of key program items (project artifacts, requirements documents)
- Keep up to date with the overall economic landscape of the Contingent Workforce industry
- Look for expansion opportunities, like new customers, markets and industry developments. Take advantage of possible opportunities that can occur to advance the company.
- Create and see through plans and initiatives that guide the strategic delivery organization forward
- Will also serve as a manager to a small team of solutions consultants - ability to manage, mentor, and train a team of individuals on the industry and VMS
Qualifications
- Senior: 10+ Years' Experience in VMS, Contingent Workforce Management
- Experience with large-scale project implementations serving as the key lead of all design decisions
- Advanced configuration knowledge of VMS systems including Fieldglass, Beeline, CCW (Coupa Contingent Workforce), VNDLY, Utmost, Simplify, ProUnlimited
- Experience with the design and build of system integrations with the VMS
- Experience serving in a client-facing role to solution business process decisions, lead client meetings, and meet with key stakeholders
- Experience creating process flow documentation using relevant project software (VISIO, Lucidchart)
- Management experience - leading and mentoring teams of resources
Pay Range
USD $151,000.00 - USD $170,000.00 /Yr.
