Position Title: Director of Business Development
Position Summary:
Monument Consulting is seeking a Director of Business Development to lead leads sales and client-relationship management in their designated region. They will pursue emerging opportunities with new clients, as well as maintain relationships with active clients to identify areas of potential growth. The Director of Business Development will report directly to the Vice President of Sales and partner with department heads (Account Management, Operations, Implementation, Strategic Delivery) to organize sales presentations and write proposals for prospective clients. The Director of Business Development is expected to embrace a complex sales cycle, which can sometimes take several months.
Responsibilities
- Interpret prospect needs early and adjust approach to address needs
- Identify key stakeholders and build trust (enterprise level sales skills)
- Collaborate within the MSP industry (i.e. key VMS partners and vendors)
- Network and build relationships with C-Level executives
- Draft and coordinate responses for Requests for Proposal (RFP)
- Schedule, design and deliver presentations to stakeholders and C-Suite executives
- Oversee execution of Client Services Agreements and Consulting SOWs
- Occasionally serve as a sponsor on new client implementations to ensure successful communication with client sponsorship team
Qualifications
- 5+ Years in Sales
- Ability to travel 3-5 nights per month year-round (will be responsible for creating their own schedule and booking travel)
- Relevant experience in the MSP or staffing industry
- Experience prospecting and building out a healthy pipeline
- Organization and Time Management skills
- Ability to work independently
- Consultative and solutions-based mentality
- Creative thinking skills
- Professional writing skills to complete detailed RFPs
- Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, and Salesforce
- Technical aptitude (understanding of SaaS based solution)
- Highly collaborate
Pay Range
USD $100,000.00 - USD $140,000.00 /Yr.
